I said it in the match thread, the bloke should get the credit for the result today. He get's it loads when we lose(no plan b blah blah blah) When we win he gets no credit at all. After listening today, after the first half display & the changes he made well done DC

Yes well done DC but the game should have been won by half time. But that would have been a credit to him also. However the defence is struggling away (only conceded 1 at home) and our defence away is a real worry. DC made changes spotting the Lincoln defence cannot handle our pace and Martin & Harrison caused issues which took a lot of pressure our defence at the time where we sounded like conceding any minute. Well done to DC.

I'll be quite honest, when I saw that we were going 3-5-2 again but with Monkhouse up front, I thought "Oh my god Darrell, why do you tinker around so much with your tactics man" but it seemed to have worked out gracefully, Leadbitter had an awesome performance at RB (a position with I thought was going to be Lockyer's forever, thank Lord it's not) and the players were working really hard.
We did shut off for a while and concede 2-2, but we have to understand that one was a penalty that Trotman could not have avoided and we are also not Real Madrid, our team is and will be prone to collective mental issues, which were not being worked around in the past but have been today.
So, fair play to DC and the players.

I've been saying locker is not a RB and should be pushed in with leadbitter at RB and today I was proved right so hopefully he sticks with it

After listening today, after the first half display & the changes he made well done DC I remember the good old days when fans were a collective at this club and we had unity, after a dramatic first away win of the season after a difficult start to the season you have chosen to start two separate threads goading the people who also put thier cash into a club failed by its directors. It seems to be epedemic online these days, I get it that the internet is a great place for people who wouldn't say boo to a goose in the real world an opportunity to goad behind a keyboard, I also get that some people have a default negative outlook with regards to Rovers, let's face it the past 6 years or so have been a nightmare. But just for once it would be good to visit this forum occasionally and not read the same repetitive divisions with posters comparing who is the best fan, all very sad and IMO so indicative of what is very wrong at the club at present. No need to make the effort to respond in detail defending your posts as I rarely post for the reasons given above.

LOL because I started a positive thread about DC I'm goading the non-positive(negative) posters! What about when the non-positive(negative) posters post negative posts, are they accused of goading also..? No. Also don't go down the keyboard warrior route, I could just as easily say the same bout you, you wouldn't say it to my face!! But I won't.

Not sure he's a tinkerman, maybe people have just been brainwashed by Wardys 4-2-3-1 every week. We only played the 3-5-2 once, at home to Grimsby and we looked solid at the back and decent going forward. DC has always said each game is a new project and he will set us up in a way that will help us win the game, he should have done that at Barnet and said sod what the fans thought moaning that agaisnt Grimsby we were to defensive. So refreshing to see a thread like this, a real shame that those who are so hell bent on abusing him and moaning at him can't just give him some praise but that tells you all you need to know. I was a miserable bast**d on the old forum, but if we won a game or got a decent point i always said fair play Wardy and the boys good job, lets keep it up.

Well I couldn't be happier.
The club's debts are roughly the same as their only asset, we have been turned over twice by part time teams already this season, but none of that matters, we get the rub of the green and manage our 3rd away win in about 18 months.
Clarke in and Higgs for president of the world.

Maybe you are programmed to cancel out anything positive by bringing up a negative?

Cheer the f*** up mate, we won an away game. You can get mad afterwards, but it wouldn't be any better if we lost or drew. We all know we're debt-ridden, poorly managed and whatnot but not giving a care about the club will hardly solve anything at all

At the end of the day Bristol Rovers FC won.
We won!
Let's give DC some credit for this. Even if it hurts to say so.
Let's make no bones about it, we were all angry with what occurred during last season/ the summer. It's ok to change your mind though. It's ok to say well done and to then enjoy your weekend.
