VAR would have given that Evans penalty shout. (I hate VAR though).

This iFollow director needs to go back to school, that's two or three times replays have been showing when action is still ongoing.

Where were our defenders, Charlton forward had no one near him.
Very disappointing.

Harvey Vale at fault there. Good player by all accounts. Not a defender though.

Superb team performance substitute Coldplay scoring both fantastic finish once again thought Thomas Tatlor and Vale were Superb and another steady performance by Cox.
Bring on Wycombe
I did predict a 2 1 victory mind you Charlton were fast slick and pressed very high. Valuable 3 points.

Well done the team. Well deserved win with everyone putting in a shift. Taylor and Thomas were MOM, can’t decide who but it doesn’t matter, both immense. Vale’s inexperience at full back gave the goal away but he had a great game otherwise, always pressing on that side and his delivery matches that of Evans. AC had a decent game I thought and his awareness in the box made the assist to score the winner. Grant Ward does so much without too many plaudits but you can see the difference when he’s not there. And Finley looks a rejuvenated player, always a down-to-earth, straight talking player who has responded well to Matt Taylor’s straightforward approach.
Strangely I thought the referee had a decent game, let the game flow, didn’t make any major errors that changed the game. I wasn’t sure about the penalty, others closer to it might have seen it better. He could have been a bit harder on some of the Charlton tackles but I’ve seen far worse.
Great attitude to overcome the disappointment of giving the goal away and come back and win it. Well done Matt Taylor to have galvanised someone else’s squad and get 3 wins against good sides. Must be doing the right things. 👏👏👏
UTG!

Lots of heavy rain in Bristol last few days flooding sides of many roads. Will our pitch hold up for what is likely to be a terrific sell out match. I well remember that classis 5 5 classic at Eastville in Nov 1978 a Paul Randall hat trick ten goals scored and none on final 20 minutes. Going for a 2 1 win this evening anyone passing like me Ashton Gate tonight beware 23000 fans heading there for Bristol v Exeter chiefs. UTG Credit where credit is due, you were spot on with your forecast...another 9000+ crowd.

There is a fairly decent squad within, the previous incumbent just never had the ability to see how they could work with the right attitude towards them, Taylor though he may seem timid in comparison ,has the wherewithal to communicate to this group and at the moment he is eking out the results
