We looked every bit as poor as bottom of league Reading. No way are we anywhere near top 10 on that performance.
No one deserves a mom award based on that performance.

Disappointed. But as before, we struggle against teams that step up the physicality. There were times we seemed happy with a draw. Feel sorry for the 3,000 Gasheads who travelled.

Our throw ins are useless, giving the ball away and Reading nearly score! Ridiculous, what the hell is happening! Different times, but under Gerry Francis I never saw us lose the ball from a throw-in. Every one went to Devon's head and other players knew where to run to pick up the flick on. Nearly every Rovers throw-in today at Reading, from deep in our own half, soon ended up with a Reading attack (including their goal). Then, towards the end of the match, following that deliberate (?) kick for touch that gave Reading a throw-in by their own corner flag, I thought "Right. If they do it to us, we can do it to them. Here's an opportunity for Rovers!" Instead, the fullback just threw it for one of his own players who then volleyed it over the half-way line, clearing any danger. It really does need some attention!

Sounds a bit shambolic. I don't want to come over all Kegan Degg on you, but 3000 away on a Ruesday night really impressed me: well done the Gas.

Just back from Ifollow..
Scrappy game devoid of any real quality. I don't know what happened to our passing game or why the creativity of Evans and Sinclair were missing, but the match drastically changed with the first wave of subs..
Nice assist for Big Chris Martin to take another opportunity...right in front of our fans too! I bet they liked that one!?
Not so nice assists for Cox who seemed he'll bent on passing to opponents with unforced errors like most of the team..
My m o m Luke Thomas. A constant menace.
Big shout out to the ref that got everything spot on except the most glaringly obvious penalty claim I think you'll ever see!??
But best move on as quickly as possible from this poor performance. We really should be beating these teams, but put in a showing like that, I'm more than happy to get something out the game.
Onto furthest north trip where we rarely win. The Mangan unbeaten dream moves on...

Stats: Reading 1 BRFC 1 - Possession: 48% - 52% - Shots: 6-11 - On Target: 5-5 - Corners: 0-4 - Referee: Adam Herczeg - Attendance: 11,726upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/11/Reading_FC.svg/180px-Reading_FC.svg.png v upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/47/Bristol_Rovers_F.C._logo.svg/200px-Bristol_Rovers_F.C._logo.svg.pngReading remain rooted to the bottom of League One and are now winless in eight matches after they were held to a scrappy draw by Bristol Rovers at the SCL Stadium. After a disjointed first half, Reading went in front in the 40th minute when Sam Smith drove home his first goal of the season. Chris Martin levelled for Rovers in the 57th minute, but the game drifted towards a stalemate long before the end. Rovers had made the first impression with a good run and shot from Aaron Collins that home goalkeeper David Button had to push away. Reading barely threatened going forward and there was a three-minute delay after tennis balls were thrown on to the pitch as part of the ongoing home protests against Reading owner Dai Yongge. On the resumption, Reading grew into the game and went ahead five minutes before the break when striker Smith rifled in a fine angled drive after Harvey Knibbs had dispossessed Ryan Woods. Button saved smartly from Jevani Brown and Collins early in the second period, but Martin, a former Reading loanee, equalised with a well-struck rising effort past the keeper. Neither side showed much creativity in going for the winner as the game petered out into a tame draw.

We aren't that good and I'm beginning to accept it.
The mix is all wrong, esp in the midfield.
Maybe if we can get Rossiter back that will change.
Brown is my biggest disappointment this season.

Spent lots of money on an out of balance squad with some in the last season or two. Best squad ever my hairy bottom
