Shusssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssh, I understand that it’s all a bit ‘ hush hush’ but apparently this season's shirt is one to get excited about.
It’s along time since the club has tried something a different, which always comes with a risk, as a lot of you will no doubt remember the ‘Tesco shirts’
So if maybe this season’s shirt breaks with tradition, then ‘splott on!’ I for one have to say that I am intrigued and looking forward to the great reveal.

Amber and green halves? Croatia's small quarters are nice. They once had a second shirt that was blue with red and white quarters across the shoulders down to the top of the badge. I've never seen a shirt that clashed like that one.

Could go Dada.
Failing that...
1957 shirt.
White shorts, with a blue pin line down the sides.
Socks, black with one blue hoop at the top.
The badge, well eg,crossed Sabres or a play on the Edward Teach flag.
Away kit.
The Black Arab.
Shirt,as near to the original as possible. Shorts black.
Socks,black.
Then,as Toteend4 suggests,maybe it's time for change.
62 to 64 blue and white stripes? 1898 to 1900 blue and white hoops?

Go back to the classy shirts and shorts for the 1994/95 season - you can't improve perfection.
Am I right in thinking that the 'tesco bag', which was premiered at the first Memorial stadium game (in 1996), was its immediate sucessor?
From the sublime to the ridiculous.

The 94/95 shirts both the home and the Green away shirts were a great design, however the actual material was terrible, I remember it becoming pretty much unwearable after a few wears and washes.
The immediate successor to that was imo the best shirt we've had for a long time, the Le Coq Sportif shirt of 95/96 was great I thought, in our final season at Twerton.
The 'Tesco' kit followed that.

I have both the home & away shirt from 1994-95. The home shirt became very 'bobbly' after a few washes. But the away shirt is still immaculate. As for the Tesco shirt - I like the grandad collar on it.

I always buy a shirt, but as a laugh would like to see a shirt with the manufacturing flaws I have found over the last 20 years being produced as a one off.
1) Collar the width of a wooden chopstick. 2) Short Sleeve elastic incredibly tight to restrict blood flow, yet with incredibly billowy upper sleeves. 3) Shirts that twist to the left or right just past the upper chest, that make you look like a contortionist. 4) Large Size Shirt (Labelled) that is actually no more than 38” chest. 5) Fabric that produces enough electricity that you consider plugging into the National grid.
Well, that get’s it started anybody can add to the list?.

Sounds like we`ve signed Ronald McDonald. Surplus stock from a few stores having to shut down 🤔🪖 Great. Logo written in Cyrillic. We`ll look even more like Ratbag Rovers.
