So what result do we want, another tight call which will be resolved in three or four hours……….
Do we want the Black Cats to win thus shift one of our promotion candidates out of the mix. Or do we want them to lose and reward us with two cracking home and away fixtures?
Conversely, do we want the Water Rats to win and get us 6 points towards promotion?
I think that’s just made my mind up UTG

Wycombe to win all day long for me.
It’s just funny seeing Sunderland in there for a 6th season.

Sunderland will be 2 difficult games - you would think -,points return? Big game though exciting. Then again I quite enjoy watching Black Cats fans going apoplectic on YT because they're still 3rd tier. Hmm..

Yes Sunderland are far out man so cum on you Black Cats stick your claws in them Water Rats
Even farther afIeld is York, and good luck to them today in their quest to climb up the football pyramid. Thought their fans were very magnanimous, knowledgeable and welcoming when they dropped out the league few years ago. UTG

2 0 to Sunderland. Ten minutes to go.
Looking like we'll be playing WW next season.

Can see Norwich Sunderland and Leeds United bring a force in Championship with City 82 being relegated.

Remember playing York not that long ago in the Third Division. Best of luck to them. Sunderland aren't about to set the championship alight. That side looks extremely weak on paper. Strong for L1, but not good enough for the championship.

well the difference will be about 700 souls!!! 900 or so from 5 or so hours up the northern highways and about 200 or thereabouts from along the eastern passage.... no doubt Swiss will get that into his accounting schedule

This is a genuine sleeping giant as i see it

When they first came down, they had a much stronger team. They need a complete overhaul if they are serious about contending. The Wycombe bubble must surely have burst. Is Joe Jacobson still playing? Wigan as champions shows how poor this league is.

I`m glad; got a bit of a soft spot for them.

Well that’s that sorted then, we keep our six points with home and away fixtures against the Water Rats and Sunderland finally make it back to the Championship.
It would have been nice for them to have hung around for another season in League 1, as i missed BG’s finest moment a 2-0 win just before COVID kicked in.
It would also be another opportunity to watch them in the home fixture at the Stadium of Blight and the away game at Roker Park.
The only business left is who comes up from the National League - I hope it’s between Wrexham and Notts County. Well pleased York done the business yesterday.
Oh and there’s Liverpool or Man City today - Who Cares ! UTG
