The referee for tomorrow is the same one that we had for the Grimsby final at Wembley,if I remember correctly he was kind to the Gas goalkeeper (Puddy). It may well be that this Ref could be our lucky charm, let’s hope so !!!!!

Also, he was the one who gave Ollie Clarke's goal at Blackburn, had the players line up for the home team's re-start, then inexplicably reversed the decision for offside. Video shows that (a) the ball was played to Ollie by a Blackburn player and (b) he wasn't in an offside position, anyway. Then went on to give Blackburn a soft penalty and denied us an obvious one.
Also, he was the one who penalised Ellis Harrison at Fleetwood for being fouled by a defender, then booked Chris Lines for protesting...then sent off Chris Lines for continuing the protest.
It's almost as though the decision only to caution Puddy is haunting him.
I would recommend that Paul Coutts, Sam Finley et al go easy on the chatting to the ref today.

He is an absolute clown. Worst ref I've seen since the likes of Kevin Lynch, Gurnam Singh and Brian Daniel Edit - was at both Fleetwood and Blackburn games and could see what a tosspot he was even though the action was at the other end of the pitch from us. Anyone know what Coutts was sent off for? Is this another crime to add to the litany he is developing?
