Very poorly. He's 87 and played for,England Newcastle and Arsenal.Spent his final playing days at Stoke where I watched him whenever I wasn't travelling to the watch the Gas.Stoke's Victoria Ground then was far superior to the Mem now even all those many years ago. Magnificently skillful player.Watched him at Ashton Gate playing for Arsenal in the FA Cup when he juggled with the ball, lobbed it over an opponents head and continued to juggle the ball.Magician.Get well soon George. Scored memorable winner v Chelsea League Cup Final 1972.

George (born 23.9.1936) played in 721 career games for Ards, Newcastle, Arsenal, Stoke, Cleveland, Cape Town, Hellenic, East London, England U23 & England, scoring 102 goals. He was in the 1966 World Cup squad and won the 1971-72 league cup with Stoke City, he managed Stoke for 37 games in 1977. He also was awarded an O.B.E in 1973. Get Well Soon George.
