Huyton, Huyton, Huyton. Is he the controlling midfielder we need to free our talented forwards from their scurrying around like a load of headless terriers and get forward more?

'The 29-year-old has not played in more than a year due to a knee injury, but he has recently returned to training and brings plenty of pedigree to Joey B*****'s squad.
The length of the contract has not been disclosed.
Nolan scored 10 goals in 70 starts for Ipswich'
sounds like a bit of a roll of the dice, but without a signing-on fee being paid and presumably post a thorough medical

Unemployment on Merseyside is at its highest level in 23 years. Trooper Joey's just doing his bit that's all.

Was a key player in Shrewsbury's run to the League One play-offs a few years ago and scored a spectacular, deciding goal away at Charlton in that play-off semi-final, as I remember. Also, scored for Ipswich against us in one of the early games last season. He was absent from the match at Portman Road in April, though. twitter.com/skyfootball/status/994679869924560897I've just noticed that Alex Rodman was also in the Shrewsbury side that day. And their 75th minute sub? Stefan Payne!
