Goals per game is one thing, but Goals per minute for this fella must be off the scale!
Have I got this right? Difficult to tell without the stats page in the programme at the moment.
2 appearances / 3 goals.
Walsall v Rovers ... came on in the 89th minute and scored the winner (7 minutes 2nd half injury time) = 1 goal in 8 minutes. Rovers v Oxford ... came on 97th minute and scored 2 including the winner (2 minutes 1st half extra-time injury time & 5 minutes 2nd half extra-time) = 2 goals in 30 minutes.
Goal per minute ratio = 1 goal every 12 minutes and 40 seconds.
BTW I thought he was supposed to be a midfielder! :-)

If Lance is reading this...
p.s. 'Sion' isn't pronounced 'Si-on' nor 'See-on' - it's said the same way as the Irish 'Sean' or the Anglicised 'Shaun'... While actually being the Welsh version of 'John'.
p.p.s. 'Davies' is pronounced 'Day-vis', rather than 'Day-veez' - the surnames 'Davis' and 'Davies' are pronounced the same. Tom will probably be returning this week, so a chance to get it right. :-)

Was going to start a thread on Sion.Joe described him as 'probably the best finisher at the club'.He also stated that from now on the 3 youngsters that came on have established themselves as potential first team selection,or words to that effect.
Evan's and Sam have performed brilliantly upfront, but if Joe wants a finisher in the team, then I imagine Sion must be very close to starting a game soon.
We may not need a transfer window for a new striker because we've already got one.

It's just not good enough. I mean, all he blinking well does is score goals!?
What's that all about....?

C-on looked quite stocky actually. Why doesn’t he get more starts?
Is he only on loan?

Doing my Billy no mates impression whilst waiting for a gig, with veggie fish fingers and half an ale. Halcion days.

Sadly you have forgotten he played a first team game against Exeter last Wednesday and looked poor at best

Doing my Billy no mates impression whilst waiting for a gig, with veggie fish fingers and half an ale. Halcion days. Sorry, don't know. Used to work with a guy called Sion, so that's how I knew. Just googled it... - Seem to be lots of variations Sion, with different accents above vowels, and different language origins. - Origins in Welsh and Hebrew for the equivalent of John. - In Hebrew meaning "Highest Point", which I guess explains "Sion Hill" and "Sion Place", in both Bristol and Bath. Although I'm pretty sure you can't pronounce them "Sean's Hill" and "Sean's Place" :-) - Could be used as an alternative to Zion - hence 'Mount Zion'.

That counts as first team? Thanks. I blame my tools. My tools being the once vaunted, now crap, matchday programme. 3 games and 3 goals then. On evidence so far he's a super-sub.

Is he only on loan? Crystal Palace sent Mark Bright to watch him yesterday. Wonder if he would have got on the pitch otherwise.

Seen too many loanees at the club who showed promise only to fade away as the season progressed to get my hopes raised.

You can't even show promise if you don't play.

You can't even show promise if you don't play. True. Be interesting to see how he plays in the bread & butter matches. Telford has come on since he left us. Slow development there, but you could see his potential as a striker when he was with us. A proper sniffer in the box.
