Yes, I forget it's the close season, which may be the only reason o2o2bo2ba has flown away. The calendar's messed up these pandemic days.

Awww guys and gals and inbetween, my very own thread!? ... with a poll.
Thank you so much. I'm genuinely touched. From o p deleted!
I and imagine many others needed a break. A break from the utter succumbing and subsequent devastation of relegation.
So much hard work after we slept walked into non league (scars still hurt), which culminated in truly amazing, emotional scenes on Browner's right foot day..... I've never seen us win promotion in Bristol before, I spoke to many faces that day that I've seen for years yet never struck up convo.....we all spent so much time and money travelling, supporting, being drawn into the fanatical world of what it means to be a GasHead. Where we rose above all expectations to seriously challenge for promotion to the Championship half way through the season with team spirit and an appearance of unity within fans and club alike...
All of it wasted. All of it just nonchalantly thrown away. All of it just accepted with no fight, no passion, nothing....poor management and leadership on and off the pitch. That, and so much more. I think we invest so much as fans, we deserve better than what I've seen from December 2019 onwards.
Also, a division in the fanbase that has been even more exposed by a series of management appointments that EVERYONE has had an opinion on, whether it is stay or go (The Clash sang about all that).
Yep, I needed a break. That was my remedy. I'm sure some of you did too.. I did wish everyone a great summer and genuinely wish everyone health and happiness to today and beyond.
But, now my online friend's brother and sisters I am back with a new enthusiasm. An optimism. A quieter confidence, because this is an uncompromising division we know all too well how difficult it can be to get out of.
More importantly, I look forward to sparring and factitious, sardonic, insulting, degrading comments to carry on with.... because quite honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way!
(What a sanctimonious drivel post) UptheGas..

Sadly someone ruffle his feathers yesterday and not for the first time he has flown the nest, though I'm sure he'll return. Fair play to anyone who can summon up enthusiasm and optimism at this juncture in time.

I think that's summed it up exactly why a sabbatical was needed. Shoves bless him, sensitive duck, he'll migrate back (hopefully) when the weather gets worse.. it's lovely to see you and others still there and thank you so much for your kind words... Hope all is well with everyone and we've come through safe and healthy.
