I have to find the 'Reignite the Gas' line quite embarrassing.

I have to find the 'Reignite the Gas' line quite embarrassing. It’s beyond parody isn’t it. We, as Rovers supporters, have run the gamut of embarrassing things happen but I think we have not yet hit our lowest point, given that Wael has not just backed Joseph but has also joined him in laying the blame at another manager. I imagine this will not go down well in the footballing world.

I have to find the 'Reignite the Gas' line quite embarrassing. You don't, you know. It is not obligatory.

I have to find the 'Reignite the Gas' line quite embarrassing. Why? Poor grammar - should be 'I have to say that I find the 'Reignite the Gas' line quite embarrassing. I just think it's cringeworthy.

It's good the prices have not gone up.The loyal deserve it and I really hope for all of us,we can turn up at the Mem to cheer on Joey's Rovers challenging at the top end.
I think we'll have a good 4th tier season.

Couple of reports say he’s being lined up as a coach by the FA for the development squad. He was reportedly a very good coach - but in reality a poor manager.

I'd imagine most of the footballing world also blame Garner, hence why he's not been offered another manager's job! Have you not read about his impending role with the FA & possibly national football then ? There is only one person responsible for this backwards motion and i have said it enough times. It seems that if you’re a nice bloke then you can slip out of any responsibility though. Personally, I don’t trust a word of his and I think we are in the most dangerous position than we have ever been. My comment was meant about our president and not Garner though. I think it will not go down well as it really is poor form. I would imagine Paul Tisdale has more nous & contacts than he has.

Doing a coaching job for England's youngsters (assuming the rumours are true) is similar to GC's job at Sheff Utd, it's an acceptance that he's failed as a league manager.
Wael's problem is he's too trusting, he really needs to find a good CEO and send MS on his way. He now seems to be being taken in by B***** but I've no idea if he's as good as he seems to believe he his, plus the fact he could be serving a custodial sentence this summer seems to have been swept under the carpet.

I don’t agree with your first paragraph but I fully agree with the second but I would add that it’s not being taken in but a dereliction of duty. At the level we are playing, we cannot pretend we are Billy big b0ll0ck5 club and a good owner would be hands on & not delegating his duties. Wael didn’t even physically meet B***** until very late on. It’s truly diabolical, even with this pandemic.

Not sure it's practical for a Non Dom, which I assume Wael is, to be fully hands on when he can only, even normally, spend half a year in the UK, COVID has probably stopped any traveling between countries recently. Although plenty of UK businesses are recruiting managers solely via Zoom meetings Even if Wael spent a full year in the UK dealing with issues at Rovers does he have the knowledge to run a football club, does Lansdown run Bristol Sport on a day to day basis, I doubt it, as Ashton seems to do that.

I thought that he left the Jordanian FA 'to concentrate on running Bristol Rovers'. In answer to your question I dont think that he could run a bath...but I expect that someone does that for him.

Sad to say it but city are definitely on another level, to use el presidentes words. You cannot compare us to them. They are a billion and a half or more better off and prem ready. We are a broken , tin pot club

We are a broken , tin pot club But how have they got there (apart from Lansdown's money) they must have employed a decent CEO not people like Hamer and Starnes, B***** said yesterday he was going to discuss the results of the "review" he'd arranged to have carried out, surely isn't it the job of the CEO to either run the club correctly or organise the review not the manager. Imagine a manager at any other company Tesco arranging for a review to be carried out and then telling the CEO how they should be organising the company!!

Where are his qualifications, where's his experience that makes him able to draft a review of how a football club is run? Let's do it between us shall we? Q. Why are things rubbish. A. Budgets too small across the board and key recruitment inadequate. Solution. Spend more and employ some of my mates. We good? Who should we send the invoice to for this 'Root and branch' review do you reckon?
