If George is a fan of Wael and the manager, it's not preventing him being a Rovers supporter. Not sure why you chose to ask such a trite question. And likewise, if I am not a fan of Wael or the manager, that does not prevent me from being a Rovers Supporter. (Though not 'active' right now. The Club is not getting a penny out of me). This is why I asked george to define what is "a Rovers supporter". I await his reply george Well my definition is someone who is a fan of Rovers and attends matches when possible.

Of course you (or anyone else) can support the board but after going through 5 managers in 3 years, putting a charge on the stadium, not getting the UWE stadium built, increasing the annual debts and getting relegated I would like to ask you what exactly they would have to do for you to question your support for them ? Wael and others responsible for the abysmal playing performance this year.
Happy with commercial improvements Very happy with the Training Ground Comms have improved Happy with the Academy & Community
Need to get act together on the playing side Needs to deliver on the stadium
Happy to have an owner who will fund us and keep us competitive, and who is/appears genuine
Not that hard to have a balanced view is it?
But that doesnt fit the clique
Bless you for finding time to type. It's such a teany tiny forum, you are far too generous with your valuable time. One wonders why you bother? Fair play to Wael. For a simpleton he's done a great job in manipulating opinion. With the help of the mods on gasshat he has 'sold' the idea of B***** to a decent percentage of the fan base. I remain flabbergasted. And embarrassed. I believe Wael has indirect control of that forum. I believe Wael has indirect control of the press and TV. Conspiracy theory? Yup, maybe. Certainly not fact. But it is my opinion, and I am entitled to it. What Wael doesn't have is any control or influence of this forum. That is a fact. It is because it is Bristol Rovers Independent Fans' Forum. No mods on here have any affiliation to the owners/Board. It is an independent voice. I like balance in a debate. All views remain welcome. Even yours. BTW your last sentence doesn't actually make any sense. But I'll let that go.

That's me OUT then by your definition. In mitigation I would like to put forward spending the last 30 years making regular 300 mile round trips to Bristol to watch Rovers, a Club I used to have a great affinity with. On February 22nd 2021 the Club made a catastrophic decision in appointing Mr B*****. I lost that affinity. I lost all faith in Wael & the Board. On principle I will not spend any money on Bristol Rovers. When Mr B***** is shown the door, I will probably be back. If that's OK with you. Lots of love, Rovers supporter in purgatory.

Hello George, You have me concerned now, I have not attended a Rovers match since 2003. For the past two years I have purchased ifollow season passes and I spend £xxx on merchandise each and every season, I am not able to attend games as I will not be able to make it home for supper. With all due respect, if you are relying on the suggestion that 'Wael is manipulating the fanbase, press & TV' I would suggest the debate isnt going anywhere.
For me, and many others I'm sure, its a case of visting the training ground and comparing it to Cribbs, of logging onto the new ticket site, of experiencing the transformed commercial set up, and making up our minds based on what we see and experience ourselves. Whilst sharing the same frustration as everyone else with the playing side.

More tents and Babestation.
Yep, we've really set the bar high in terms of presenting the club professionally.

He has to deliver.
And if its really eating away at them they read up on 'emotional intelligence' and see if that helps them

You reply to my post but dont answer the question. "Very happy with the training ground" well Rovers dont own it and no one seems to know how much they are being charged to use it. "Comms have improved" an open letter every now and again but the owner will not go on Radio Bristol with Twentyman to answer fans questions. An owner "who is / appears genuine" not to me he doesnt,I know that over half of Bristol love him (and his latest manager) and want him to stay on for ever though. "But that doesnt fit the clique" not sure what this means but you keep on about cliques on here,I only knew 2 people who used to post on here and they havent bothered for months (years possibly) so if there is a clique I am not part of it. Anyway you keep on sticking up for Wally and maybe he will have a selfie taken with you. I feel sorry for Rovers supporters/fans,they have put up with a lot over the years and they deserve better than this ****.

This (non)debate still going on? Really?
Its because its irelevant. All are owned by the same party (Dwain), its simply an inter company accounting adjustment.
This has been done to death

You really have no need to give any mitigation Ian. You & your son have shown tremendous support and loyalty. I find it just bizarre, that anyone could back the leadership when we have already been relegated and knowing what is coming next. What use is a training ground if we go into terminal decline & there is always the possibility of the owner just giving up on it all. We do not have a Dunford type now and we really are in a very precarious situation. There are other factors in play but I am unable to talk or write of them as, I have no doubt that I would end up in court. I really hope that the pair of us will be able to go to matches again but, sadly, I feel we are entering a period where we are in great danger of the club being totalled. This really is just like being in a crash, everything slows down and you are aware of what is happening but have no control over the outcome. Wishing you and your a great weekend

It’s DWANE , my understanding is that the expense is being added to BRFC 1883.

You and I have had some fundamental disagreements in the past, so I don't think we are exactly soul mates and part of a clique. That doesn't mean that I don't look for your posts and respect your opinion, of course.

It gets better. So now you are sole arbiter of what criteria people are allowed to use to make judgements on whether someone is an appropriate appointment to a position where they represent Rovers, and if someone does disagree they lack emotional intelligence. Charmed I'm sure.

That is a very weak defense of the “evolution” Are you really happy with commercial improvements which have led to trading losses quadrupling ? Isn’t it a case of being taken in by the spin and Instagram hits but forgetting about the reason why the commercial department exists ? Are you happy enough with the training ground to be able to tell us where the players will be changing, showering and having team meetings on June 26th ? Did you watch Wael’s last communication via his interview with Ali Durden ? Are you happy to continue egging him on when you can see the effect it is having on him ? The Academy and Community Trust have been assets of the club for many years and I’m afraid adding them to your list of Wael’s achievements tends to give the game away. You seem to be “in the know” so can you confirm that General Mike Gibson has completed his top to bottom review in record time and recommended that Rovers problems will all be solved if Eddy Izzard Jennings is appointed Director of Football ?

As things currently stand JB is heading for the worst results record of any Rovers manager.
