Still not convinced it’s 4 or 5 short. Northampton proved today how terrible some of the bottom 6 teams are. A decent u-18 team would have beaten them. A modest number of points from the next 5 games i.e. 6 will be enough to keep Rovers afloat. Rochdale, Swindon, Northampton and Wigan to go down. They really are terrible. Most of them will struggle in League 2 next year Agreed Swindle, Rochdale, Northampton and Wigan are all s**te, whereas the Gas have just had unbelivable s**te luck and s**te match officials. It feels like being in Hitler's Bunker when the Allies were closing in, so the question is do i take the Cyanide Pill now or wait a couple of days incase Sunderland can put us on equal footing with Wigan and then its back to and the team to save us from the drop

I am just hoping we have just enough to scrape a 20th position finish so we can put this dreadful season behind us...

Found this on experimental361.com which is accompanied by an interesting graphic worth seeing:
"Even with each team having just 5-8 matches left to play, surprisingly little can be definitively ruled out.
The top two of Hull and Peterborough are the only teams mathematically guaranteed a top half finish, while five of the current bottom six (excluding Wimbledon who have games in hand) cannot now escape the bottom half.
Nine different teams are still technically in the title race and everyone in the top half except Gillingham can still secure automatic promotion, while everybody down to 18th-placed Burton is still capable of finishing in the play-offs.
Likewise there are still nine teams – everyone up to 16th-placed Plymouth – who can end the season at the foot of the table, and the bottom 11 teams can each still technically be relegated.
Nobody is yet mathematically certain of remaining in the division for next season (up or down), while five teams – everyone from MK Dons in 14th-place down to Burton in 18th – could still potentially be either promoted or relegated."

We are where we are because we’ve been poor. We may win the last 5 matches but we probably won’t. If you’re 22nd after 41 matches then you’re there for a reason and that tells me that to spend time looking at possibilities of avoiding relegation is probably more about hoping than expecting. All we can do is concentrate on the Lincoln match win that and then concentrate on the next match. With 5 to go it’s all about one match at a time. It’s a bit of a cliche I know but that’s where we find ourselves. UTG!

Joey may want to try to win the Lincoln game, but he will, hopefully, also be keeping an eye on goal difference just in case.

Sorry folks even though I'm still positive this was the best I could do on the Evening Post predictor if I'm honest!
