He isn’t challenged on anything. Reporters just let him use the interview like it’s his own personal podcast. And when you give B***** that much air time all you’re going to get is how it’s every else’s fault. Seriously, listen to everything he says carefully and you’ll see that every interview is filled with slight comments that you could almost miss where he subtly (or not so subtly) tells the audience that something wasn’t right and it wasn’t his fault, he just found it like that. He hasn’t taken ownership of anything in all the time he has been here, he’s just constantly laundering his reputation. Example today is the five match losing run “I’ve never been on a run like that before, even in amateur football”. No course you haven’t Joey because you’re a winner aren’t you? That cabinet of medals is bursting at the seams isn’t it? His file at the local nick is bigger than his trophy cabinet. Possibly not as big as his gob though, to be fair. Has anyone else ever worked with anyone who constantly disses their predecessors and those around them? Yes, it's a cheap shot tactic to cover for insecurity. Thing is, is it valid? As in: BG hadn't played let alone managed? PT had plenty of experience in division below, but was a failure in division we are in....? Are those more valid points than the blame culture?

Looking at Wiki it seems that he may have won 2 trophies, both for being part of Championship winning squads? I was right then 😂 Ps: don’t forget his runner up medal for the play offs with Fleetwood.

I did but too late. You are puffing out mixed messages here, defending the line up, slagging off the line up, now defending it again. when Joey came in he had some joy with back 4, settled side and tactics. Then he drifted into this back 3 two up and has lost the plot now. All the pegs in the wrong holes. Williams and Tutonda brought here as full backs, Martinez as Centre back. IMO we would be better starting and sticking with Ostumer playing off Jonah and bench Hanlon. Many of the better moments we have had this season has had Daly on the pitch. is Little hare and Daly fit. Hanlon apparently playing through injury. we are playing it around in our own half a lot because they can’t see the pass on with 3 cb and 2 strikers sucking bodies out the middle. For me, a back 4 the CB are CB not makeshift. 2 midfielders anchor it, out of those available today, Upson to sit, corma to box to box. Oz plays off Jonah. Daly left and Walker right. This gives us the chance to hold the ball in midfield whilst we transition into a shape to control things. Donny come to us in the same weak state as Ipswich, fans hopeful of playoffs but wobbly form. Please pick a stronger team Joey. Hmmmmm... You see, for me, that's partly a brilliant post. I can get behind alot of that and that's fair criticism. And thank you for doing me credit for reading posts.... that's exactly where I was, and I suspect others too, I was all for the inclusion of Tutunda before a ball was kicked.....but not for playing where he started! I think if we were in a place face to face we would be agreeing! .... I thought at 2.01pm, it was a back 4. Leahy... Martinez... Baldwin... Williams (where for me he has found his best form) imagine my horror Tut in the back 3? Awful! I honestly thought Martinez was a CB converted to defensive mid? But, both he and Walker input has been notably ok.... So....my take on it is: your only changes would include Daly and Oz.....ok thanks for that, but I respectfully disagree. Partly because your initial post reply to my team sheet info, was to play experienced players instead. Daly and Oz aren't experienced players in this league or this season. Compared to whom started ahead of them. Partly because i think Oz is technically gifted, but hasn't shown the consistency yet to be included in a starting lineup. Partly because you appear to favour a 3 up front? I'm not sure that works either consistently. Hanlan and Ayunga appear to play separately as a 1 and a 1 up front....I so wish we could form a partnership up front, play closer together....? Oz not experienced? 50 appearances at posh 80 at saddlers? He’s also the best option as roaming playmaker that is exactly what this team is crying out for and a role complimenting the 4 5 1 formation I suggested lining up in. Has Daly not had an impact for you? My gut feeling he is the most natural goal scorer at the club, if fit enough Daly should be playing every second. I have said before try Tutonda centre midfield. I like his dynamism and skill set, but does have reckless mistake in him too. I like what I have seen of Martinez, he seems to have a great focus and calmness when in possession. These two players should have started today in the others role. but there is also a reason why our passing was dreadful today. IMO there’s two elements to good passing game. Firstly movement. Secondly the ability to pass. Martinez, Uposon and Corma were the passing squad, the creative lynch pin today, oz and westo warmed the bench. And from the three up front was there good movement, or Jonah and Hanlon a bit samey and don’t look to spring the trap often enough?

And from the three up front was there good movement, or Jonah and Hanlon a bit samey and don’t look to spring the trap often enough? Oz not experienced as prolific at what he does, in our division, at this time. No, he hasn't had that experience as in played at Posh 3 years ago, Saddler's 7 years ago and was much a force in division below.....or else, why is he not ever present by his form? Daly is in his first real full season. I like him. I hope it works for him. Unfortunately, I liken him to Gavin Reilly. Both are unproven to us. In my opinion. Even though I like both... Your post suggested an increase in experience.... I've yet to be convinced of that, or even a 4-5-1 would actually work at all? If that's the best criticism of a starting line up, play two unproven yet they've had opportunity, I'm further reinforced that my original post was more accurate.....we performed ok from 15 mins - 75 mins where we weren't in serious threat, yet created a couple of half chances to get something out the match. Interesting post, though.

Didn't Lightning Cheats hammer them in the semi final, something like 6-3? Don't think you get a medal for making the semi final.

Interesting. I like PC.....if you can get past his comedy random octave change, going from Darth Vader to Princess Leia, around 1.34 in he freely admits it's a goalie sending off.... maybe he's being generous and gracious in victory?
Credit where it's due.... I've always liked PC even back to chesterfield days.

This is what worries me. It feels as if he talked his way into the job and has been pulling all the strings since. Next phase will be kicking out the majority of the players and bringing in ones he wants. Which might be fair enough, but how much money is he going to demand. Wael doesn't seem to be able to say no to this bloke. It could cost a small fortune on top of the debts we already have and still achieve nothing.
WaQ and Joey - dream team or the stuff of nightmares?

No, but what you do get is held up by the braying masses of Gaschat as the peak of managerial excellence because you came second best to lightning cheats fc despite having a budget much greater than theirs. Right now that’s all B***** has got to trade on.

Although I would laugh my head off if WWFC ended up playing in a park somewhere, to be fair, considering the money in the 2nd tier these days they haven't embarrassed themselves. At the start of the season I was expecting them to end up with maybe 10 points and catastrophic goal difference. They won today and although they are getting relegated there's a strong possibility that they won't finish bottom.

Fair play to them. By contrast, Wael didn’t.

And one day you will talk about the game not B***** Yeah I know right? Isn’t it incredible that Wael hires a guy who is far more competent at creating negative headlines than he is at winning football matches and all people want to talk about is the man himself! I can barely believe it! Projection. Deflection. Two very negative & really quite nasty traits but it’s worked, for Wael

So, statistically B***** is the worst of the 3 full time managers we've had this season. Replaced Tisdale because results weren't good enough, now we are even worse. Brilliant Wael, just frigging brilliant! But, but... I promise I’ve learned some lessons and everyone says what a nice bloke I am

We’re so lucky to have him and his brilliant decision making qualities. He’s spent 20 million+ and he’s got the club relegated. Pure genius. speaking of genius B***** playing Tutonda at centre back and giving Ipswich a two goal head start was a great opportunity to see what we are going to get next season. i’m really excited for the future with these two footballing intellectual heavyweights at the club. We could even be back in the conference soon if we’re lucky. Dover was an amazing day out and I’d love to go back. I'm genuinely worried about where the club is heading. L2 is a tough place, if Wael thinks for 1 second that we can just take this same squad there and it'll somehow be easier then he's even more deluded than all of the evidence so far suggests. This squad will get flattened by the musclebound oafs in the 4th tier. Hate to say or think it but I see us going the same way as we did, last time we had manager merry go round

Unless Wael gets help in 12 months time we'll be where Grimsbury are today. They are the perfect example for anyone who thinks clubs always learn from the bitter experience and utter humiliation of playing against teams of plasterers and electricians.

A bit like: "Going to Grimsby on a cold, rainy, Tuesday evening." Looking forward to the wonderful delights we have ahead next season. Another new ground to tick off. I haven't bought a voucher for Bettys Tea Rooms in Harrogate. I thought you were one to appreciate the fact that we're able to have a bit of a laugh and joke about ourselves KP, even when in direst of times.

We have had so much to deal with and I truly bought into the new owner and maybe going further. Sorry

For years, they were always in the same division as us. Often with smaller crowds. We now see the same happening with Lincoln and accrington. What does the club need to do from board level down to start making progress?

What does the club need to do from board level down to start making progress? We need to stop thinking about “the board” making decisions because it must now be obvious to everyone that Wael makes the decisions and the others have very little influence. Fifteen months ago I was still pushing the idea of trying to get inward investment and new expertise on board but we have gone past that point now.
