It’s not gone how i anticipated again. I think our formation is disrupting Ipswich like it did first half against Sunderland. Having said that, Ipswich are bit tentative and stand offish, particularly when the ball is cleared by our defence towards backs to goal forwards they are not putting in a challenge on them. Wonder if Ipswich management will sort all that out half time.
The games become a schoolyard scrap. Question is, how much energy have we expended already?

To be consistent, Day was sent off in similar circumstances. That’s the trouble. One day he’ll be right but will have cried wolf way too many times

To be consistent, Day was sent off in similar circumstances. I think the Day sending off was the incorrect decision. Referee probably had it right today.

To be consistent, Day was sent off in similar circumstances. And the one away at Sunderland as well, which was a more obvious red than today’s. mind you there was a match at Wembley half dozen years ago where Puddy was luckier than Holy.

Hanlan and Ayunga are like pink unicorns in their hold up play. More urgency please!

I agree, they are both similar in that goalie holds his ground and player goes into him. That one at Sunderland was a shocker, player clean through goalie comes and wipes him out with professional foul.

We're usually worse in the second half than the first, so it's hard to be hopeful.

Isn’t it incredible that Wael hires a guy who is far more competent at creating negative headlines than he is at winning football matches and all people want to talk about is the man himself! I can barely believe it!

That result was no great surprise but looking at the table and our upcoming games, relegation looks a certainty and finishing rock bottom a distinct possibility.
Evolution was it? Devolution would seem more appropriate.
I feel nothing but despair for our club right now.

More of the same really, have some good spells, look competitive in the games, come unstuck due to a bit of lacklustre defending and narrowly lose the game.
The difference was the mistakes came early on and for a time it looked like we might get back in it, which I guess was encouraging to see.
Two big games, one at home where our form is a bit better, despite 5 losses on the trot we’re really only one win from getting our heads just above water again.
Don’t think we’ll stay up, but anything can happen.

Again couldn’t get it going second half. Against a side gone deep and time wasting from about 68 minutes. There was the sending off shout first half, when Holy looked all at sea, for Joey to distract everyone from actual reasons why we lost. Some of our passing and dead balls were shocking. Is that the first time in his life Tutonda has started as centre back?
Did Ipswich impress anyone. Commentary said they have 20 players out of contract, this hesitant side aren’t going up next season.

Hey, very encouraging news, that was our 1st goal in 346 minutes of play, since Upson scored v Charlton.
Again we had more of the play, more shots and more shots on target and still lost.
Monday at home to Doncaster who's last 6 games have been v Charlton L, MK Dons L, Gills d, Oxford L, Northampton d & Crewe L.
We have now lost our last 5 in a row, no other team is in the same kind of form as us.

So, statistically Barton is the worst of the 3 full time managers we've had this season.
Replaced Tisdale because results weren't good enough, now we are even worse.
Brilliant Wael, just frigging brilliant!
