In another thread, I described his press conference as the most savage that I have heard by a Rovers boss. The "struck off" comments were combustible. I think that Tisdale deserved more respect than that. Maybe PT was trying to drill some of those basics he complained of in those 2.5 hours?
I thought that LMA would get involved.
He could go to court for defamation of character, but that is a civil offence and so would require Tisdale or Garner to initiate. B***** would gladly use evidence to back this up and it will just turn into a pantomime. Recurrent theme? #boohiss
I suspect that B***** will get a knuckle wrap from LMA and warned about his future conduct. Stop laughing at the back. 😂😂
Listen to Robbie Fowler Podcast in Feb 2021 with JB. Very insoghtful. He is brutal in his honesty, he won't take a step backwards and won't change. The ultimate disrupter. As I admitted, with my Machiavellian cap on, I am less worried about the consequences, provided that we sweep away the Garner / TW model and yes... win some football games and not play like an Academy / U23 side anymore. "The end justifies the means" and that is not one of JC's. 😘
I think that the mild-mannered Wael / Brutal B***** dynamic is a fascinating thesis topic. 25000 words at least.
Buckle up for the ride. Excuse the pun.

on the other hand, it is more publicity, if anyone is seeking publicity Bristol B*****’s have made it on to the back page of the mail tomorrow thanks to Joey! Great exposure for the club. I imagine Wael to be like the idiot who buys a German shepherd puppy for Christmas because of how cute it looks, a few weeks later the dog is taking Wael for a walk. being on back page of these daily’s mean we are a bigger club than Bristol city!

FA/PFA trouble, or other? Message received. "This hasn't been well received and there could be repercussions." Sounds like there will be, just pondering how and when

Excuse the pun. “How do I know that? Look at the league table. Look at the fact two managers have been removed from the job.” he will need some evidence though, as this isn’t evidence. Truth is, if the greatest manager in the world were managing this squad they would struggle to find more cutting edge and cut out the mistakes defensively that all managers here this season are struggling with. The fiction is B***** has some evidence here to be able to accuse peers of criminal negligence urging them to be struck off. I sense it’s B***** talking internally off the back of a newspaper, he has upset the squad is now trying to win them over. In terms of professional manager, we have clear differential between one who honestly said hard to keep them up without more forwards in the window, and one who dishonesty blabbed he could keep them up.

My gran would get more goals out of this team than him. Unfortunately she died in 1971. All he does is mouth it off and deflect blame onto others. He needs to be got rid of sharpish or the streets will be full of off-forum Gasheads beating each other up. He's divided us enough already so call him a taxi ffs! We've got enough coaches to manage the last eight games. Hargreaves & Mansell spring to mind. They can't do any worse than that dickhead.

Even after he is gone I don’t think there can be compromise and reconciliation with Gasheads who still think this bad man management, bad game management and needless bad publicity by slagging everyone off and looking for a fight has been good time for our club. Can’t wait to get in a stadium or pub and meet some of them.

To be honest I doubt that either of the two who were mentioned could be arsed about what Joey B***** thinks about them. To me it told me more about Joey B***** the failing Bristol Rovers Manager than his two predecessors who kept us above the relegation places.
The Daily Hate Mail's journo's have probably picked this up from what is already in the public domain and added what could happen not what is going to happen.

Let’s be honest here guys, how can either of those two take anyone to court and claim that they are at risk of their managerial career being over. The judge will quite rightly point at B***** and say “well that p***k still manages to find an idiot to employ him so you two have got no worries”
Case dismissed.

When Joey lays out all his managerial trophies and fabulous win ratio in court they will run and hide.
When he said managers are sacked for poor performance, he did quickly qualify that by saying he wasn’t.

Very quick to point out that he was sacked for political reasons, nothing to do with a run of 1 win in 8 or 9 games. The thing is, the media could be holding this guy to account a lot better than they are. They seem to accept the nonsense he comes out with (Charlie Wyke cost ~400k not 1.25 million!) and don’t question him on the blatant open goals he produces. I can only assume they are in fear of Wael cutting their access if they dare to question his new toy.

There’s no need at all for self realisation when the local press and majority of the fan base are lapping it up. Strange that Preston fans don’t seem to want him. Maybe we need to go onto their forum and tell them they’re not real fans and to f&&& off to Ewood

As they say there is no such thing as bad publicity if they are not talking about you ...give them something to!

The only reason fans are happy to accept B***** is because Wael’s footballing decision making has gotten so s**t that fans are desperate for a win even if it was Fred West offering it to them. To think these pro B***** types scoffed when we had the chance to hire Cotterill...

When I first heard JB had made comments about the training sessions of the previous coaches being a farce - 2 and a half hours on a Friday - and they'd been negligent, I initially thought it was because he was saying they were too short. I now understand he's saying they were training too much before the day of the game.
In that case, what is the correct amount of time to train on the day before a game? Just a few stretches, or none at all and discuss tactics and stare at a flip-chart?
And if the negligent act of training for 2.5 hours before the game has been stopped, and we're now training properly, how come the results are worse?

Watching the pre-match 'warm up' has also left me asking similar questions. Now I'm willing to leave it to the professional trainers, but a glorified 5-a-side and short bursts of activities leave me scratching my head, and it's not lice. Many players look red in the face and knackered as they go in the changing rooms where they do little for 15 or so minutes and surely muscles must cool down. (It worse still in internationals where players stand to greet some bigwig and other clingons and then for anthems.) It's the same with subs, they are often called on after little of no warming up.
