Noticed on Sam Frost latest Q&A session today he mentioned that if we are relegated that there will be wage cuts for the players also regarding those out of contract he reckons they will offer new deals to Leahy and Rodman the other 10 will be released

Well it's good to know we're planning for all eventualities this time round.
What were the famous words under a different regime? Something like the Finance Director: We didn't plan on getting relegated (or) We didn't think we'd get relegated.
However, what is nothing short of a disgrace is the current manager appears to have thrown the towel in when there were still 10 games to go in the season.

It will be interesting to see in the summer if we go down which players want to stay and right a wrong by trying to get us back up regardless of a pay cut and which players want to leave in search of better wages and/or league one football.

It was Higgs wasn't it, 'Relegation is not an option'?
Not long after that we were playing League matches against Dartford and Gateshead.

Players think of two things in football, the length of their contract and how much they get paid. Long gone are the days where players have pride in the shirt that they wear. Obviously I'm generalising because there are a few rare exceptions.

Toni Watola - hadn't thought of possibly budgeting for non league football as we were not in the bottom 2 till the last 20 mins of the season. Joey has the advantage over him on that one.

Making an example of Ehmer didn't do the trick, slating the coaches didn't fill the players with confidence, giving them the idea refs have an agenda against this club isn't going to help either you'd think. Not a lot left to try now, though no doubt he'll surprise me.

We went into the bottom 2 after Mansfield scored in the 36th minute. Northampton and Wycombe were both winning at that point. Hope you are well Angas. Regards, a pedant.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if some clubs chose relegation in order to restructure their finances in this year of the covid. Some must be hard hit.

Relegation results in reduced income in both commercial revenue and generally attendances so only a fool would plan to get relegated. Unless of course you mean go into administration and take the points hit?

I meant small clubs punching above their weight. We're not punching above our weight. We're just not punching at all.
