Only two months to go and Fleetwood will be able to release their fly on the wall documentary currently being held up from screening on SKY due to a past employees alleged criminal activities. May on the pitch and June off the pitch are going to be very interesting and important months in the future of this club. It does not augur well....

A lot of people spend their time here severely criticising everything that is wrong with Rovers. That's what a Forum is for. However, an employee comes in and calls out the "sh*t show" and suddenly he's bang out of order. The irony. I am dubious about the timing and the savagery, but not too bothered. I am more relieved that the owner is going to let the manager sort it out and that the Garner / Academy / DNA model is being abandoned. Just recruit some decent players, who have a pair and start to get me 3 points. I am looking forward to hearing what plans Wael has asked B***** to implement and the timings should he need a plan B after the court case. Will Widdrington and Starnes be leaving as well as all of the back room staff employed before Bartons arrival and how many of the current squad will be retained out of choice, how many released in the summer and how many told they can find a new club. Now that the revolution has finally begun after the period of evolution let's see the plans so that we can all buy in to it if it is what we believe in.

Our job is to support so an insight into what we are supporting would be a step in the right direction even if we struggle to get there.

Are we pulling together behind the clubs DNA, or a different DNA, or will it be replaced by another bollocks phrase we can all get behind?

... My take. Wael is more clever than we thought. He has appointed B***** mainly because he is a total football enthusiast like himself. Wael has recognised that this whole "sh*t show" needs to be ripped up and has brought in the abrasive B***** to light the proverbial fuse. ... Wael has proved himself more stupid than any of us dared contemplate. He threw away the last vestige of any credibility when he appointed B***** as manager. If, just if, you're right - and he thinks the sh*tshow needs to be ripped up (which goes against everything he's been saying for the last 5 years, and is of course is a horrendous mixing of metaphors)... Then who's sh*tshow is it exactly? He's been here for 5 years. It's his sh*tshow FFS. Lighting a fuse. Right oh. As in watching our Club implode while the B***** fanboys lap it up. Currently the Club is a total embarrassment and a laughing stock.

Heroes and villains eh?
In the Villains column, I started off with Jimmy Hamilton and then Joe 90 of 354 Stapleton Road and SC coach infamy. This was an era before hashtags.
Joey B***** could be the R.A.T.S to Ben Garner's SC coach. For others, stop the world, they just want to get off.

Or is it that after we lost on Tuesday night he was so downhearted that he told the manager to just go out and say whatever he liked ?

The great reset will mean we go back to signing players suited to win games and have a good season.
Regarding age of these players, well we won't sign younger players for the sake of it.
This ageist positive discrimination experiment has proven a ridiculous flop
Age does'nt come into it.
Quality of a player does. Raise that and you raise the standard of the team.
This means that the younger players signed or coming through the ranks have to be of a decent standard.Don't worry,we'll still sell them for big cash now and again.
On the the other hand we won't waste so much time and money on young players who just won't make it or are being held back by the low quality of the collective.
This does'nt need a massive amount of 'thinking about it's for weeks.
Commonsense football.

What division will be in, what budget will JB have if he is here, and who will he stuck with that he cant get rid of? If Rovers go down and B***** stays, he is arguably under more pressure as no doubt (rightly or wrongly) we will be perceived has having a big budget and a bigger club in league two by many

Let's hope somehow it's 3rd tier next time. He'll be expected to improve things if it's 3rd or 4th.A pressure job. All normal stuff Sprout.

The funniest bit is he is saying what some people on this forum have been saying for a long time, but because its JB saying it they are going into meltdown. Its superb, you can sense the confusion in forum members in what to say. Its almost like a malfunction is starting to occur. That was point I made above. I'm not sure whether it's all true from poster's comments or JAB, but the contents do seem to fit the narrative of some here..

I love this press conference. So what if he is blaming other people, he can't take full responsibility for it. He might not be good enough to get a tune out of them for the last 18 games with no window and injuries to key players, but the effort has improved.
His tenure so far reminds me of when DC started, his first 8 games were a poor return.
Garner was expected to be in the top 6 clearly and probably sold it to them as such, Tisdale had a whole window to make adjustments and failed miserably.
B***** is right, they are running out of steam in games. They are not fit enough.
He did cite evidence in his comment about the video of a 2.5 hr training session the day before a match. I'm no expert but i would imagine he is. He prolonged his playing career by decent diet and nutrition, also had a year out and then came back to play for Burnley. They know their stuff for Christs sake.
If we do go down, he will take some of the blame as he had games they could have won, but overall we have to judge him by the end of October, not this season, wherever we finish.

Yet he is not exercising that control. He whinges and rants in the media and loses matches. Tisdale loses matches and complains in the media: “boo hiss!” B***** loses matches and complains in the media: “atta boy Joey, you tell ‘em!” What’s the difference between the two? Joey has less promotions....but more followers on Instagram. Case closed.

He's honest with players and staff and tough enough to lay the law down and implement it.Get on with 'my system's or you'll be gone. Oh to have a Rovers where we are lead. All singing from the same page! In music the orchestra has a conductor. It works. The choir a Choir Master. The Beatles had John Lennon. It worked. John Lennon,a scouse that had a nasty side but his band did okay.Did'nt they. Even when this system does'nt get the required standards, bad results,a strange interpretation of Mozart led by the conductor or a choir master that has failed to study psalm 23 for Sundays service etc. At least you lose together, united. Then you stay together,go again or if faith in the Boss has gone, get another one. A FC needs strong leadership and again,if WAQ continues to back JB,we may be nicely on our way. You may not like the Manager on a personal level, but that does'nt mean he can't be a successful one. Salute the rank, not the man.

If JAB copy pastes contents of y, it's automatically seized on..... usually by X amongst others!? It's the same message!

Will he take/accept any blame though? The whole Ehmer thing for example is ludicrous It was known he had an injury of some sort. B***** picked him, subbed him, called out Ehmer on the Monday. He is now out for the season nd now they have have had a heart to heart and he is a 'good kid' Is that good management on any level.

The idea of breaking someone then building them back up is a tactic though. Counterproductive imo, but a tactic. So is blaming the previous before you get a chance to get going. Tories did it with Labour, Labour did with Tories etc etc etc. Thing is, there may actually be elements of truth in what is said....and like I post above, some of it rings true with chronic postings on this forum. JAB has to take responsibility. That's what management is all about...but I got a feeling, a strong feeling that this season we've been so inadequate and unprepared, whomever would be here managing would struggle to get wins out of the squad they have to work with. That's why I'm still neutral about JAB until proven otherwise.

If JAB copy pastes contents of y, it's automatically seized on..... usually by X amongst others!? It's the same message! Fair point and I won’t deny the fact that I’m staggered at how Rovers want to get into bed with a guy like B*****. Even the altercation on the beach hanging over him would not be as much of an issue but the guy was involved in an altercation where teeth were extracted *whilst performing his managerial duties*. In some professions you would be banned from carrying out your job purely for safe guarding reasons until the facts had been established. In the crazy world of football and because violence against men is confined by society B***** is allowed to carry on like it never happened. It honestly just beggars belief. But even that aside, if we were to judge B***** purely on his managerial ability at Rovers, why does anyone think he is the man to build a club around? He says he is a winner but what has he won? Certainly nothing as a manager. He was on a run of 1 win in 9 at Fleetwood when he was sacked for “political reasons” (I’m sure that dismal run had nothing to do with it because Joey was doing such an excellent job) and he’s continued where he left off at Rovers. Let’s be honest here, if it was John Q Manager who had come in everyone would be wanting him sacked after failing to beat Wigan, Swindon and Wimbledon but because it’s B***** he’s being given a depth of lee-way he has not shown he deserves and rather than resolve to work harder he is spending his free time explaining to the press why it’s anyone else’s fault but his. You just wouldn’t stand for it from anyone who was a law abiding, albeit boring character.
