Nobody, would get bullied playing in the one of the youth sides. Can't say I can recall ever seeing such a wimp playing mens football at any level.

Worst midfield signing since? depends what expectations were? coventry were great, but he was just a component they let go. He is young. His dead balls are better than okay. Assists and goals put him where in this teams tables? He threaded in a great finish tonight. Aside from Ostumer Is there a better passer at the club? to be balanced, apart from that, he doesn’t bring much else to a side yet in his career? I’m still of the mindset this far into their Rovers careers you could create a negative thread for Tillson, Lambert and Snake. It takes a while to settle, when you consider the upheaval these players have been playing in this season, it’s hardly what builds the partnerships and performances that allows you to impress. I think both manager and fans should stop pointing fingers and scapegoating players as you and this thread are doing.

These players have been sold a dream by Widdrington, then Garner. They then had to warm to the ideas of Tisdale, whilst still dealing with the coaches of the old regime, then Widdrington again, now the have Joey B***** and his merry men.
Covid must have placed burdens on those players too.
Scapegoating anyone is easy, I think a lot of these players would do reasonably at other L1 clubs.

I agree, a reasoned response, most of the away commentators talk of the quality that we actually have, the problem is as a team the quality is not shining through, and probably never will.

Some players play better with better players, we lack leaders apart from Luke Leahy.

Disagree he's worst signing.
It was his shot that was disallowed v Swindle. And he has shown glimpses of genuine talent.
Just, it appears when you need some midfield bite, he's a luxury that goes missing. And certainly wouldn't be in a GC team!

Absolutely dire. I dont think he has what it takes in L2, maybe we could cancel his contract.

If i worked somewhere with all those changes i dont think i would take the business too seriously. Forgetting all that hes simply not very good. Fortunately we won't ever see a lot of these ****ers play, only regret on that front is Nicholson.

The reason his recent dead balls look so bad is because earlier in season, like the win at Shrewsbury, every dead ball from him was excellent. It also don’t help creative midfielders shine if they are outnumbered in midfield consistently. Hanlan is another who looked better earlier in season than now? conversely Mac’s looked better more match experience he has had. Harries seems to be improving too. And Ayunga. the issue for me would be the sick notes. Rodman. Barrel. Jakolla. Daly. Nicholson. WE LOVE EM. But how much use are they putting in sick notes half a season?

I just wish he wouldn’t take set pieces all the time, they are floated in and easy to defend. It has wasted a lot of set piece opportunities for us this season.
I think he’s fairly talented on the ball, a lot of good flicks and passes and the occasional good strike at goal. Off it though he doesn’t work hard enough, doesn’t put the tackles in, that’s why he’ll always be limited as a player.

There are definitely some similarities.

So why is it still being allowed to continue? Why isn't a captain, coach, manager saying someone else have a go? To continue using the same tactic after 42 matches and still not working, why is that tactic still employed?

I think Westbrooke is a fantastic talent but has either been played too deep or frequently bypassed with long balls over him to attackers. His technique is excellent and he clearly has a very sharp mind. He could be a key player for us next season - in league two.
