A police officer,Wayne Couzens, has been charged with murdering Sarah Everard.
Mass media coverage and rightly so.The accused is a policeman. The incident took place in London.
The vigil held was hijacked by defund the police,ACAB, far Left etc people.Similarities to what has been seen in the US.BLM supporters were there I'm sure.
The last few days,a failed asylum seeker,Azam Mangori,is in court accused of the murder of Lorraine Cox.This happened in Exeter. Her body was found neatly cut into pieces.Arms, legs removed eg. You may not of heard about this, but there has been little media coverage. Not a London story. Not easy for the far Left to promote their wishes here,eg defund the Police.
I hope GB News eg can rebalance the reporting of news because imo we need it.

A unifying event happens. 100% of people are outraged about the murder of a young woman and also the general treatment of women in our society. I would have gone to the vigil if social distancing could have been possible. The vigil was hi-jacked by "rent-a-mob". Every demonstration always is in London. A chance for swampy and his mates to attack the Police with impunity. So the BBC decide to run with the agenda - "Police use heavy-handed approach to disrupt a peaceful demonstration protesting about male violence towards women" (Paraphrased). A very good friend of mine is recently retired from the Met. He has had plenty of first hand experience of dealing with crowds (a lot of it football related) and demonstrations. What the Police have to put up with to keep law and order and protect the civilian population is astonishing. I would take the word of a former Met officer over left-wing, anti-Police, BBC every day of the week. Can't comment on the rest of the post - as I haven't read about it. Perhaps that sums things up.

A Syrian migrant is charged with murdering 10 people at a Colorado supermarket shooting.
It goes on and on.

In what way are you 'outraged about the general treatment of Women in our society'? I meant that comment from a sexual context. I am outraged (as I'm sure you are, and 100% of people with even quarter a brain) that a young woman has been murdered just for being 'in the wrong place at the wrong time". As for the general treatment of women in our society within this context, yes we have an awful lot to do. So yes, it is outrageous that I still have to worry about the safety of my daughters on a daily basis. Kerb crawling, wolf whistling, unwarranted attention etc etc by men is at best unpleasant and if left unchecked can lead to more serious incidents. Our society needs to do more to educate young men to stamp this out. Even you can't pick an argument with that one. Holds breath.

OK, so there are specifics that could be improved rather than a broad assertion that society is set against females or is a patriarchy which oppresses specifically females. I'll go along with that. Just for a moment I was wondering if you were about to start pushing some form of modern feminist agenda, which I would have resisted. For the record, it's an absolute disgrace that Women don't always enjoy the basic right of being able to walk the streets without fear of harassment or assault.

I'll have to show that statement to my wife & kids - I'm pretty sure they will p*ss themselves! Feedback to follow :-)
