He does a lot of the donkey work and an upgrade on the player we used to have in that position. I'm not going to name any other 'worst' players as that just stokes up the fires for a scapegoat... Other honourable mentions - Hanlan, Ehmer, Tutonda (where's ee to then?), Ansii. We have a decent side and they seem to know what they're doing under PTv2. UTG.

Yes, harsh on Grant that!, he does a lot of tidying up, behind the scenes sort of player, but, after saying that I don't rate him that highly.
Best so far : Luke McCormick, Getting sharper and more involved each time out, the only player to break into sweat at the MK Don's fiasco.

it's quite nice that there are several people to consider, without there being a stand-out candidate
there is plenty still to play for this season, I hope

Nobody has really stood out for me, been equally disappointed in all of them if I'm honest. Baldwin easily the worst of the lot though, total car crash of a defender.

I like Oztumer who is looking a class player but Nicholson has had the greatest impact.
I think thw reserve keeper has the most improvement to make.

I like Hanlan who has looked a proper old fashioned handful of a centre forward who works his socks off and has a finish on him.
Baldwin has not impressed.

Nicholson for me - the sort of player that gets you out of your seat. I also think Baldwin has done far better than people give him credit for, but it seems that only Sam Frost, Tisdale and Garner (gulp - I said it) agree with me.

Over the whole season, Westbrooke because without his assists we'd still be in the drop zone and probably out of the cups, and he doesn't cost the club a fortune in socks to appear to be doing his job properly in the eyes of the fans. Nicholson's on fire but it took him a chunk of the season to get his proper shooting boots on. Hanlan scores even when he's not playing well but for me he needs to be more distinct in his shooting, which he surely will once we get out of the danger zone and can relax.

Both Hardon and Nicholson have an extra bit of sizzle about them - as someone put on here about Nicholson, he can get you off your seat
They both have that bit of unpredictability, and can make things happen

Has a bit of x factor about him and is a potential match winner...player of the season for me

Interesting o p and topic.
For me: Player of the season so far: Nicholson. (Most consistent). Hanlan (or Halan if you have our official calender..... unforgivable!) close second.
Young player of season: Alfie.
Most disappointing: Ehmer.

Riddle: Can anyone work out the answer of the Gas Subbetto Player of the year thus far?
So if we start with a player whose squad number is small, then write down this number then add the same number to it. This will give you a Desmond, If you were to then to half this total by splitting hair's you would then arrive at the shirt number which is ...... and you have our man.
Play it again?

To cut to the chase Sam Nicholls is the Gas Subbetto player of the year thus far. Hopefully when football gets back to real size he will continue to improve by working on his timing as hes got massive Potential he reminds me a little of George Best a genus winger whose massey runs changed many a game.
I know iam 'barking' , the duck Sussed me out a while ago - I blame Leffe ( the drink of God''s ) for stretching my mind and girth!

I blame Leffe ( the drink of God''s ) for stretching my mind and girth! one of my favourites. My local would only sell it in half pints though, as they couldn't admit to charging double the price for a single pint-glass of beer fun fact - the French say it as 'leff', whereas the Flemish say 'leffa' which, admittedly, is a whole lot less fun than drinking the stuff. It's particularly good with mussels and chips, I think
