I guess Tommy and Paul discussing new recruits
We definitely need at least one striker
Another left back (only jesting)
Perhaps another wide man
Any suggestions
Brett Pittman Tom Pope Danny Major
We also need to off load others
Rodman Kelly Bennett

I can see a very quiet January transfer window in League 1 & 2.

I think we very much need a GK loan signing.
Say eg Anssi is out for half a dozen games.18 potential points.
That could be the difference between relegation or staying up.
Another striker.

Reports suggesting we may be looking for a right back and a striker. This implies that flat back four is the preferred line up so we now have a surfeit of wingbacks. What does that mean for Hare, Tutonda, Koiki, Rodman? Assume Little fitness issues mean last season for him. Is Kelly seen as cover for Leahy? Also going from 3 centre backs to 2 means we now have too many. Not sure many changes this window but suggests a summer overhaul.

I was going to suggest an RB,but remembered JH,who looks a good player to me.

JVS is an ok backup for a 2/3 game period but beyond that it becomes an issue. I’m pretty sure those running the football side of things know this and will probably get in a loanee that everyone will moan about.

Perhaps Charlton are playing games and trying to force the issue, but it says there is interest in Oztumer [beyond Rovers].

It's of the highest import that we sign a twenty-goal striker and a top class goalkeeper now, to claim furlough rights and never to play another game this season. Come on, Al Qadi? Why never spend?

We should use this ‘no-season’ as the pre-season to next season. Give youngsters and fringe players a chance where there are games since players will develop at different times in their career. Look at Low, Broom and Mings as an example (even Ryan Clarke who turned into a decent keeper). If we want to be a club that gives youth a go then we must demonstrate this.

We still need to attempt avoiding relegation.
