A final, at this time of year ? I know nothing of Scottish football but what cup is this ? Must be a fairly low standard if those players are involved.

No doubt if a championship side got to the cup final in England , the narrative would be 'the magic of the cup' , but in Scotland it becomes 'low standard'. Go figure.

As I did say, I know nothing of Scottish football but I’m pretty sure both Glasgow sides wouldn’t be so glorious, in the prem. I’d love to see the FA alllow it

Never in doubt possibly gives him another month at the helm?, unless Rangers implode and Celtic find something near a decent stretch of form .....

I,ve seen them beat Manchester United& Liverpool.

Celtic and Rangers would both compete to win a British Premier League'.
They both have totally massive support. In Scotland and worldwide.
They would get the tv deal money and have no trouble attracting world class players and Managers to sign.
What more do you want?
They would both win the 'British Premier',quite likely sooner rather than later.
They would often qualify for the Champions League and compete to win it.
I would love to see a British pyramid system.

Some cracking away days Do you really think they'd ever join us in the fourth division? Yes - I think the Old Firm would snap the hand off if offerred the chance to join the bottom tier of the EFL. They'd back themselves to get promoted to the Prem in 3 years and get out of the Scottish structure that leaves them with so little opportunity to maximise their potential. Likewise, Ajax/Feyenoord/PSV would happily go in at the bottom level in Germany, Porto/Sporting/Benfica in Spain etc. There are loads of massive European clubs who are restricted in modern football because they happen to be based in small countries. It's one of the many daft things about the current system.

How on earth would that be good for Rovers? It would see us in the best league on earth. Depends on how it was set up as to what division Rovers played in.Our new stadium would be handy.I could see us in 2nd division, then one very good season! The League Cups could be dropped .Scottish and FA Cups could take their place.A British Cup for all could begin. 🙂 Cowdenbeath away on a Tuesday night would I assume be a British Cup game.
