Tuesday 29th December.
Though I'm guessing when the cases increase again, back in Tier 3 from January.

Great. Everyone down the pub from Saturday, all getting together from Wednesday to Sunday. A recipe for success - for the virus. Ah well.

Right, ok, lovely. A lot of fans must live in South Glos which is still Tier 3. What happens there? Are people from Tier 3 allowed in to Tier 2?

Tough Cookie for the South Glos' contingent, Cherry pie for us North Somerset fans although won't it be determined on the geographical location of the playing venue ? i.e The Memorial Ground is in Brizzle so they will be allowed 2000 fans regardless of where those fans may hail from or will the club look at addresses and say, 'nope you aint coming in today' !

South glos is still tier 3, obviously the cotswolds escarpment and those honey coombed villages that I run and cycle through on my weekends is a festering centre of covid. Sodbury common is an absolute hotbed of disease. Central Bristol is far safer and much easier to social distance. This is what happens when you have an mp who has never voted against the govt, takes money from climate change deniers and was happy for Cummings jaunt, oh, and doesn't even turn up for the hustings to get elected. Please, whatever your politics, don't vote for Hall at next election, he's an utter embarrassment and frankly may as well not exist.

The club should be refusing entry to anyone who refers to Bristol as Brizzle

Labour are virtually invisible in S Glos. Webb was brilliant but completely let down by Clegg and they're now a spent force. Any other suggestions?

Don't think you're allowed to travel between tiers unless for work, education or support bubble. So that leaves those season ticket holders in tier 3 unable to attend. Unless, we can link the gas to our support bubble? I can honestly say, even with some of the most frustrating football I've seen, watching the gas on iFollow has helped me through some dark times this year. Living up North, I wouldn't be able to get so many matches and I hope iFollow will continue on past Coronavirus.
Can wait to hear fans at the stadium! UTG

The Club receives valuable income and for a couple of hours, life looks a bit more 'normal' (even without crowds). Even if you live up t'north. UTG.

UTG I could probably go from Yate to Tesco or IKEA in Eastville, or Asda Longwell Green, and I wouldn't be stopped. No one would even know. But I can't stand in the open, 2 metres from the nearest fans. Just saying - I understand the reasons and how difficult it is to administer them. I accept that. Just a bit hard though.

If you think hes doing a good job i suggest you look at his voting record. Hes an out out and climbing tory ladder politician, his constitutents arent his priority. suggest we move back to footie.

ALL politicians, sadly, loose their ideals when they get into Westminster. Where's Clegg now? The other side of the world in a very lucrative job. You dragged Hall into it.

Always good to see overtly partisan political posts followed by the same poster calling to 'move on from politics' or 'back to the footie'.
Anyone who grew up underage drinking and dancing in 1990s Yate's Lawns, White Lion, Swan, and Sodbury's Portcullis and George will know the folly of the above portrayal of South Glos.
Never in a million years.
Tier two, tier three, be careful.
England's third wave is going to be brutal.

South Glos is a fiction though. Its half part of Bristol, and half open countryside. It makes no sense whatsoever that we are in Tier 3 when Bristol itself isn't.

TUESDAY 29TH DECEMBER fans, perchance? Rovers v Portsmouth #UTG Well that's Christmas wrapped up! - Anyone noticed Pompey is the start of five home games on the trot! which includes two cup matches - one real one against Sheffield one point and one where usually nobody would give a **** Obviously this run of five home games assumes that Johnson B****** and Handjob don't change the tiers again.(rightly.so if Covid Nnnnnnnnnn19 rears its ugly head again) So if the cup matches are able to be played with fans allowed what is the criteria regarding tickets? Anyone know as I've not got a scoby! Answers on a postcard please UTG
