Assuming next week, that we make it into Tier Two, this effectively could mean up to 2000 fans in the Mem to watch live the following very appetising fixtures.
19/12 Oxford Utd 29/12 Portsmouth 02/01 Blackpool 09/01 Sheffield Utd 16/01 Charlton
So who is going to get a shot at one of these golden tickets?

I hope Bristol / South Glos makes it out of tier 3 and we see 2,000 back at the Mem soon. I'm in Essex. Double the infection rate (in my district) of Bristol and rising... and still in tier 2 (for now).

I don't expect any promotion from tier 3. Not for some time.

I don't expect any promotion from tier 3. Not for some time. I think politically there may be a will to deliver promotion from tier 3 to tier 2 before Christmas... Bristol / South Gloucestershire being a good example. Getting pubs & restaurants to at least open their doors... might help secure votes in the future. Oops, I mean on balance would be good for the overall economy and not adversely effect mortality rates. For the same reasons - I don't think the Govt can move London to tier 3. Not for the first time, there would appear to be inconsistencies with Government policy. EDIT: Oh - just spent 2 minutes writing that before I got the joke.
