Some great comments on here today.
I love sticking it to some lower division team that thinks they can cause an upset.
This is exactly what L1 teams should do to Div 6 teams.
I thought their keeper was going to cry after the 1st goal.
They looked like a bunch of non league clodhoppers. Nicky Hunt looked older than me (50).
They played as I thought they would, made it difficult for us to play our game, but the first goal did for them.
I just hope we can take this confidence boosting performance into Weds v Gillingham.
Nice to see a full strength team, with the odd tweak.
Westbrooke was Garners jem but he has gone and Zain must earn his place, I hope he does as he looked a tidy player I thought.
Daly played well. We missed him in the last 2 league games. My Palace mate said he thought Grant looked decent, him and Liddle are the ones you don't see if you follow the ball. If you watch them only for 5 mins they are both effective.
I would like City in the next round, or Liverpool or Man U.

Andy Collett in goal for them .Ex Gas.Lucky the first goal was allowed to stand.Tense game as we were in big trouble in the league.Andy Rammell kept us in the league really but Howie in goal for us gifted them their goal.Long drive home after getting soaked but a great relief. We used to train at RAF Colerne in those days but the frightening thing is other than two tents the ground isn't much different even after all this time. At some point we will have to update it as a new stadium seems as far away as ever. I had to look twice at the video to check where we were playing.. you mentioned the tents as the only thing different, and that's what threw me,there was no roof to the Blackthorn end in this clip But there is now, just one other ( major?) Difference than the tents 👍

Couple of other points worth a mention - lovely through ball from Oztumer which the follicly challenged linesman incorrectly flagged as offside. Also Sheeded Hunt falling over and holding his head after an aerial 50/50 with Daly. Clearly trying to get Daly a red. Luckily the porker wasnt being connedYes, absolute disgrace that from Hunt. Daly had every right to jump for the ball - his arm may have slightly brushed Hunt on the way down, but it was nowhere near his head. In circumstances like this, where video evidence is available, there should be some way to punish the player for deliberately faking an injury to try to gain an advantage.
Should be fined, or retrospectively red-carded, for trying to get an opposition player sent off. I would love this to happen, it won't of course.

For Darlo Charman and Rivers look like they have something about them I thought Charman looked half decent

I wonder LIS,how both tributes would of gone with 8000 in attendance.Hmm. For Dave Prowse I can understand, but when was the last time ANY other international player, let alone this bloke was given this sort of "space" on a British football pitch Not for his portrayal of the Minotaur. Look it up..

Is Chasers still the best club in town? Last time I went out in Kingswood the clock tower was still a fishmonger and century’s still a snooker club. I also remember the quality clientele at the Rotunda Club - for some reason the place smelled of musky corned beef. Those were the days!! The entire place now smells musky 😱 You say that as though it didn't before..

Totton ? Dorchester? I am asking nothing else Totton was 8 years ago. Dorchester the same season as Alfreton. We scored 6 at Northampton in Bodin days. Completely forgot about the Dorchester game (1-7, actually just over 6 years ago). I was at the Northampton game. Should have been 7, but we took sympathy on an apprentice hair-dresser and let him take the weakest of penalties (which was then saved).

Slightly longer goal highlights from Darlington (different camera angle for the goals).

We've had him loads of times Thanks, mango. Of course my Saturday's over the past few seasons following Rovers, has been audio only. Now with the expensive and not very revealing iFollow service I'm squandering my pocket money by upgrading to vision. I would say though, that unlike iFollow's 'static' cameras it was refreshing to see the players in sharp and close-up HD via the BBC iPlayer on Sunday. The difference on my desktop ironically made Sunday's broadcast worth a Tenner. I think I'll be more critical of the rest of iFollows coverage this season... I sense a "Dear sir letter" in the offing. #UTG

At my age, I reckon this compo will be the only chance to see another 'pure' Derby game before I depart to the big stadium in the sky. #UTG

The odds are far better than that random 3rd round draw

Thoroughly professional display from our players yesterday.
Not sure about Ben Liddle. Josh Hare set up first, scored second that put us unassailable.
Oz not sure about but took his goal well.
Nicholson excellent weighted passing and great instinctive finish.
Top goalscorer on pitch Leahy looked comfortable.
Good win for the players and confidence restoring, really liked PT post match comments. Onwards and upwards for the Gas...

Looking at the goals again (thanks Darlo) Nicholson played a part in many of them. Perhaps no surprise then that we ran out of steam when he was subbed. Another one I shamefully missed from my list of those who performed well

Scoring six against in all honesty a side with a young dodgy keeper and clumsy defenders is not a bench mark performance Hare Nicholson McCormick and the classy at times Oztumer did well but we were gifted three goals. Not convinced at Daly and Grant. Ehmer worries me and so does Baldwin.
Bring on Marine or Manchester City.

Heyho, the genie's out of the bottle now. Sound and Vision for me... there you are, an open goal for all you Bowie fans. #UTG
