So are we all looking forward to a return to BS7 before Christmas=
I guess season ticket holders will get priority does anyone know if we have 2000 such fans,
Bars will be closed I should imagine and strict social distancing within the stands.
A different type of match day experience for sure.

Quite rightly season ticket holders should get priority, however the club could surely do with 2000 fans paying 'top dollar' - Tricky one!

I believe that the number of season ticket holders is somewhere around the 4000 mark.

Fingers crossed it happens, that'll be fan-tastic.I have a feeling it may not happen till 2021,but there is light at the end of the tunnel.🤞
I have Crohns Disease,so I'll be checking with BRI Specialists.I suspect I won't be back until the start of next season, that's okay.

I'm confused- I thought the limit was 4000? Bristol is going up to a higher Covid zone so number of fans is halfed from 4000 to 2000

We'll be tier three so don't worry about going back to The Mem.

Announcement on Thursday what tiers will be applied to where. Bristol cases are running at 390 per 100,000 per week. Higher than Manchester, Liverpool and London. Looks like tier 3 then.

Looks like politicking.
4,000 In one of the big prem grounds, will they have to open all stands?
For small clubs if tier 2 is it worth it for 2,000?
How can a club organise it if you could change tier at any time (I assume)?
Waste of time but Boris can say, look we have opened events.

Clubs were allowed to open as many or as few stands as they wanted as long as they adhered to social distancing. Norwich opened one stand with the opposite stand being used by the now usual circa 100 journalists, backroom staff, board of directors etc etc.

I think you're probably right. The cost of making a ground "Covid-19 compliant" and then paying for stewards with no extra revenue from gate receipts (as people will be ST holders anyway) and food & drink, means this will increase losses. But if you're a ST holder... you're going to want to go. So potentially puts Clubs in a difficult position. Not very joined up thinking IMHO. Who'd have thought it.

There would rightfully be outrage if people that have paid for a season ticket aren't allowed in because Rovers didn't think it was financially viable.

How will they decide who is to attend? I propose a lottery system. Whoever loses has to watch at the Mem.

I’m sure there will be plenty of ST holders who don’t want to go. Plenty of our fans are old/vulnerable, and others (like myself) have little interest in a masked 2k attended distanced match day experience. It’s not like we are doing particularly well on the pitch either.

It's completely correct though.

I've got literally no interest in attending until this is all over.
