Playing Premier league U21's teams is a complete p### take and an insult to profession football. Here's hoping JM will encourage our boy's to give them a right bashing and send then heads a spinning back up the M4. TW in his playing days was a tough, no nonsense, combative mid fielder - just the qualities missing from our game since GC ( our most successful unpopular manager ever ) Pretty football is all very well but not worth a far# if the defence is lightweight and the keeper statute.
Know what I mean Arry!

Will JVS be in goal?, I keep replaying in my head a pair of Mickey Mouse white gloves flapping at the ball which is floating into the back of the net.

First goal - Off his line waiting for a shot from two miles out and in the time it took to reach him he could have roiled a joint a made a cup tea - had a flap 1-00
Second goal - Once again off his line chose to go left behind a defender instead of going to the right, where he might have given himself a chance ended up woefully out of position 2-0
Third goal - Once again way of his line with a token dive two days after the ball had hit the net.
Did it cost BG his job? Maybe so perhaps some good came out of it ...........

Wow - it's been renamed "The Papa John's Trophy". Jeeesus wept. Sadly with a 6pm ko this now clashes with Game of Shows with Richard Osman and also Bob Ross Joy of Painting at 7:30pm on BBC4. So at a very very tempting £10 (which represents phenomenal value) to watch a weakened, managerless Rovers side play some premiersh*t chelski U21's B team in a meaningless and loathed minor cup competition... On balance, I'll probably give it miss. Here's hoping Bob Ross has the racoon or squirrel on show. UTG.

I'll put the radio on now....
Edit.Can't find it.
Second edit.Just found out it's being played tomorrow,so that explains why I could'nt find it.

Couple of great results for us tonight in L1, surely whinging Scouser will be sacked, 7 defeats out of the first 10 games.
Swindon Saturday for the Gas.
Widdrington has a chance to stamp his authority on the vacant role, like Coughlan did

Couple of great results for us tonight in L1, surely whinging Scouser will be sacked, 7 defeats out of the first 10 games. Swindon Saturday for the Gas. Widdrington has a chance to stamp his authority on the vacant role, like Coughlan did It’s funny isn’t it, once a team is on a losing run no matter of good the manager might be or how good the team may be nothing will go right. I think Robinson is a fairly decent manager, recruits well, plays decent football and has a competitive edge but at the moment he can’t buy a win, a bit like his last few months at MK Dons. I suspect he might be becoming vulnerable. Whatever he does, it doesn’t work. Clubs at the bottom will be getting a bit twitchy I think. With the Covid still here there is always the worry that the season could be halted, end early, and if that happened in January / February the spectre of ppg coming into play. The season ends in May so you don’t normally worry in Jan or Feb but this Covid has changed that and managers down there may be vulnerable far earlier. UTG!

Billy Gilmour subbed for Lewis Bate a talented striker.
Luke Leahy on for Tutonda.
