W3 d3 l5 Not terrible given the youth of the players It met the 'give it 10 games' test tho Don’t understand this, as corner had been turned and manager not under pressure from fans or relegation position and form anymore. Weird. I’m not sure of the timing of this. It’s hard to know what the thinking behind it. That someone else would have done better? With this squad and those fixtures? I haven’t felt worried about relegation for couple of months now till I heard this announcement, and now relegation is possible again. It suggests people feel another manager would have got better results from this challenging set of fixtures this season with this inexperienced squad of players. What? Seriously? If this club starts getting in a hurry for something more than mid table this season it’s being unrealistic about how long it takes with a newly thrown together young side. Away from the top sides we appeared competitive and started to play some effective football, just not consistently enough to be in top ten, though top ten finish still more than possible and would have been a great building season personally I would rather build with garner ball, young players with first touch, than endure cocko ball and his ageing cloggers.

wrong verb. Tisdale plays the right way and is experienced. Any objections?

Ok....
I made my decision in March after investing time and money attending Southend away, but had trepidation all the way through this year.
He had to go. Now he has.
This is the most unifying of threads/subjects about our playing performance and results for a long time.
It's a correct decision, but way way too late and imo.....we now have to reap the rewards of not having most credible manager applications already taken, with no transfer window until end of next month.
Thanks to BG re-writing history books as our statistically worst manager ever, and those whom supported him despite all evidence presented, but most of all thanks for saving your apology for the disgusting performance and results we had to invest and endure until the last possible moment.
I was never taken in by your bs excuses, your lame explanations, the way you dismantled 5 years hard progressive work within 4 months, and your smarmy attitude non appreciation of fans that helped support you in good faith.
Stay a coach, but please with teams whom we have a chance of playing....so we know we have a gimme.
Stay a coach, but more importantly stay away. You've helped push our club back years. B Gone..

Although frustrated at this afternoons performance, I'm actually with you. We've pretty much accepted that this season will generally be crap, though we're not really in danger of going down. We're losing to top half teams regularly, but picking up enough points elsewhere to stay up. So give it another year. "Plan A" has failed. What is "Plan B"? If it's Cotterill, than I'm off. I'm not having that.

It’s a culture shock for Ben, piss poor officials, clog hopping opposition players, no space and time on the ball that he is used to having. I must admit I’m getting concerned with the turnover of managers here.

What a relief the oaf never got to successfully complete his ultimate destiny of taking us from 4th in the league to 4th from bottom within a year.

Credit where credit is due if BG had any involvement in the design of the XMAS jumper, it's Premier League quality!

Don't be too concerned with turnovers...... Sometimes multiple partners are explored before settling for a match. BG never really suited us, did he?
