Misses Fleetwood at home.
Doesn't really "miss" Chelsea U21 as - no doubt - Jordi would have been selected for that one, even if Anssi had been available.

Is he likely to get a game for Finland? I think that kind of thing matters given that his 'shop window' is much larger than most of our player as you assume he would be more open minded to playing anywhere in Europe.

No but he's been third choice for Finland for a number of years and they've qualified for a Championship for the first time ever. I expect it brings him a great sense of pride and the club supporting that could be one of the main reasons he is happy with us.

Sad news, stappershoef fits perfectly into the garner roll it out pass and move regime.

Finland are two-nil up against France, with 10 minutes to go. Anssi is one of two goalkeepers on the bench!
Edit: Final score. France 0 Finland 2.

While it's a great result for Finland I'm not sure it's that big a shock. Finland are decent at the moment and qualified for the Euros for the first time, and it was a friendly so they were likely to be way more up for it than the French were. It's still a surprise but I think it's being a bit overstated.
