Well if the weather is anything like it is up here in the NorthWest right now they chose a hell of a day for it - might ruin the pitches already!

It's been relatively mild here, sun out a fair bit, little rain.

I was quite happy with it being called Bristol Rovers Training Ground to be honest.

Can always do an FGR and ask the fans for the name, it might get called Kevin.

Should call it Jerusalem, that's got four quarters, Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Palestinian, no confusion then about what quarters.

Dropped by today to see progress. Surprised that, at 2.40 pm in the afternoon, a full training session was taking place. Stopped to watch from the gate. Two guys, Hanlan and Ayunga I assume, were doing exercises near the gate. They jogged off and the guy superintending them moved towards me and said was I alright. I said yes. Then he said "you'd better move on, gaffer doesn't like people watching training." So I did. (Not much visible progress on the facilities - clubhouse hasn't got far.)

Sensitive reaction that be Bloo, I extremely dislike the 'move on' phrase, many 'Major' clubs have fans watching during training.

It was said very politely (in a Geordie accent I think), but seems odd. Are they already unused to being watched? Doesn't bode well for when crowds return.
