Best signing of the season a quality player his goal against us for Walsall in September 2016 was outstanding. Well done Wael.

Charlton fans not impressed with him.
An experienced striker would be nice.

Charlton fans not impressed with him. Some are. Reads like he was found wanting last year. Like he didn't take the second division on. But at our level, might be a star turn. I don't love loan players, but I'm happy to hope to have to love this one. Chin up.

Yes, he sounds a good signing and if he’s as good as he was for Walsall back in ‘16 then he will be a good player for us. I hope the seasons at Bolton and Charlton can be followed by a ‘Walsall’ season for us. He should be hungry to do well after starting late as a professional after years in non league. Fingers crossed. UTG!

What I'm reading says he's had two bad years at two failing clubs, so maybe lower your expectations a little. He needs time and coaching and fortune to recapture Walsall form.

I thought I detected a look of regret at not making it in the Championship when he was asked about Lockyer, who of course stayed in the "Champ". Maybe he found the division a bit of a brick wall and lost a bit of confidence. I don't think we'll be struggling as such so hopefully he'll get his spark back and start enjoying it again.

As a midfielder a 1 in 3 goal ratio over his whole career in 5 different leagues i will take as a very good signing.

I remember him for Walsall. Little chap. Advanced midfield, made them tick. Took all the dead balls?
What! A! Signing!
This is getting silly now, who makes way for him to score debut goal in tomorrow’s match?
I am going to use the b word again. This is a barrel replacement isn’t it?

in the spirit of this forum, where grammar pedantry perfumes the air, surely it's 'in da house'?
