There is huge speculation about the Wales forward's future after he returned from his loan spell at Tottenham. (Mail) he talks of his pride in putting on that red shirt..... shame he doesn't return the respect to those who pay his rather over inflated wages, rather used Tottenham as a "getting fit excercise "for the Welsh losing campaign in the current tournament ,not sure who will miss him now, tarnished his previous reputation by his antics over the last few years

Bale's performances for Spurs reflected someone that had been hung out to dry by Zidane, after seasons of world class performances for Madrid. As his fitness improved (and after Jose moved on) he was one of Tottenham's most potent threats.
I also think the article is just paper talk. I would expect to see him in the Premier League again this season.

Not sure many Tottenham fans would be happy with that or to see him next season,IMOhe never really performed well against the better opposition all season,
