That's it, isn't it? Apart from picking young players, what has BG done differently to try to change an outcome of a match? I don't even think we've had our natural share of bad luck yet either, with shots hitting post or bar, we're just not having the chances to shoot. Usually you can kind of see what he's trying to do, even if it's a tactical tweak in real game time, but I honestly haven't seen it yet. It's an unenviable position that BG appears not to act, or know how to react. At least previous managers rolled the dice a bit and sometimes it paid off.....we seem to have BG, the worst of end of John Ward days and sprinkling of McGhee to boot. He's lost and alone, it shows, and I do feel a bit for him, but it's unlikely that he'll walk, with this record he's never working as a manager anywhere ever again, so he'll stay put and take the money for as long as he can get away with it, Wael is going to have to make the decision. Do you know, I just can't get this thought out of my head that the reason that Coughlan left is that he found out that Wael was talking to Loser Boy. Probably wrong, but it just seems to join a load of otherwise unconnected dots. Would make a lot more sense than the bulls**t we were fed about location and prospects. I mostly didn't like Cocko's style of football but really liked how effective it was

Based on the small number of games I've seen with Benny in charge, I honestly can't see what his game plan is. The two that stick in my mind are Frankenstein FC away where we come off the back of a really inspiring away win under Coughlan and turn in a totally lacklustre performance with some clown like defending, and the horror show at home to Donny where he set us up in a 4 - 2 - 2 - 2 formation where we watched Cam Hargreaves have the piss ripped out of him and Sercs and Upson disappear. That performance makes me shudder even now. We made them look like Real Madrid and they were able to pass their way through us without even having to break sweat. I contrast that to the above mentioned Ipswich game, where we had a clear game plan, and deservedly won despite Ollie Clarke being the victim of poor refereeing. For my money this was one of (if not the) most complete and satisfying away performances I've seen in 50 years of watching the Gas From reports on here it seems that it is more of the same, despite having signed some promising new players. Like others on here I too hope he will turn it around but all the evidence I see says that he doesn't have a clue and is woefully out of his depth. Thinking he might be a potential legend is delusional and a triumph of hope over reality in my view. I really do fear that the only place he is going to be a legend is down at the s*** pit. I totally agree about that Ipswich game, it was a wonder to behold, sat watching on ifollow 8000 miles away I was close to tears of joy, what a battle!. My joy lasted but 15 mins until GC dropped the bombshell in his post match interview, like Bamber, I reckon he got wind of BG waiting in the wings, and timed his moment with us on a high, in contrast, I fell asleep watching the recent Ipswich game on the 8th min mark.

Ipswich, as well as many sides in history and future of football, had their gelling together season last year before delivering promotion this year. For us right now it’s a gelling season, whether BG is the man or is replaced, we still have to be patient. I agree he won't be going anywhere soon, unfortunately. Gel? Hmmmmm. Subjective issue, isn't it? I see Alfie a shadow of his former self under BG. He isn't a bad player, one could argue last season him, Rollin, Craig and Hare were decent defenders of this standard? I've got to accept as player of the season, Ehmer can't be that bad either. Both look ponderous in the set up under BG, with Harries and Baldwin (both I don't know what they've contributed?) so far we have two potential stars underperforming. Alfie and Ehmer don't become poor players overnight. We had some gel. I don't know where it's gone now.

They will have to give Ben the chance with the training ground, he'll still be here when that opens.

The greatest manager in English football History had fans calling for his head early into his United reign. Alex Ferguson at Christmas 1989 was just two points off Relegation and one game away from the sack (not a present from Santa!) Given time BG maybe prove a lot of people wrong and become a legend in his own right, lets see where we are at Xmas. UTG OR BEFORE!

I'm not sure how he can become a legend what I read last week in an interview the owner gave is that we are going to sign Premier League and Championship cast offs, allow Garner to coach, develop and polish them as players, then sell at least two a season for millions to effectively make the club sustainable. Meanwhile Rovers become the Mary Celeste of DIv 1 doomed to remain there forever, no ambition for promotion and at best avoid relegation.
