Suspect Tom will be played as a midfielder hope it works well for him there. Craig will be an excellent signing.

If they play Nicholls just behind the striker(s) they've got a player

If they play Nicholls just behind the striker(s) they've got a player I wish him well. He didn't fall short here due to lack of effort With both him and Bennett we got the players that people told us they were, rather than the players that DC thought they could become

With both him and Bennett we got the players that people told us they were, rather than the players that DC thought they could become You're right there. It was a subtle combination of lack of effort, lack of physicality, lack of pace, lack of confidence, and lack of any idea of what it takes to score "a goal". Tony Craig scored more goals than him. I said I'd let it go, but I haven't.

Millwall Tone Sam Mathews Tom Nicholls All there now. I like this title. Shows again how we overperformed under GC last season, admittedly SM didn't play, I am sure Tone vouched for Tom's work ethic. Good luck to them all, will be watching their results.

He never got into the right positions to get his shot away and was therefore never going to score in the numbers we all probably envisaged when he signed. He is however a creative player who can read the game and set up others to score. Probably a luxury player to play behind the striker(s) at League 2 level so they'll probably play him further forward

Tom Nichols telling the Crawley interviewer he is a "fox in the box type player" and "likes to score goals" lying little toerag. Bit tough calling him a toerag. A fox in the box he ain't. He was never mentally strong enough and you could see he avoided getting into the positions to score if he'd missed a chance or 2 earlier in the game as he didn't want the responsibility. His mental weakness was apparent when after being booed by Peterborough fans he wanted to leave

I have no sympathy.

Or Uncle Eppers giving himself the moniker The Administrator. You'll have to blame JeffNZ for that one.

Gillingham 2 Crawley 1 in the trophy last night, but none of the three featured, not even as sub.
