This ifollow seems very hit and miss. I was unsure how it would work and I used it for the first time today. But it was fine. I went through the Rovers website and had it on my iPad using Safari. I was worried because some have said it won’t work on Safari but it was very good. No buffering, no gaps in commentary. I must have been lucky. Apart from the match that is! And also having to listen to Mick Mills do the commentary. Blimey he was a miserable listen although his co-commentator was very good and very fair. UTG!

I thoought Baldwin Leahy and Grant had stinkeers. not an expert but do you play two wide attackers and two wingbacks? thats a large percentage of your players stuck in the corners of the field
that’s good comment about the formation, I was going to say it myself. If the left right on forward three are supposed to be wide, why are you playing back three and wingbacks? For your hare to do the wingback thing right, he needs to break into the space ahead but it’s already taken up by your wide right? Hargreaves got the skills for that position? The role assigned to jml is just as puzzling, pressing forward, advanced forward, false 9? Certainly not target man. we do have tidy wingback options at the club, . But play two upfront with someone in the hole behind. Imagine today with 5 (wg) 2 1 in hole 2 with Westbrook’s or Josh Barrell in the hole, it would have held possession and territory much better. Main point of consensus from all those who watched it, any side that can’t make the ball stick when it plays it forward is going to struggle. For all talk of gxarnerball we hit as many long balls as was in any of our rubbish performances in recent years. I don’t expect Garner to be sacked this week, though football often surprises. But if the performance is the same disorganised car crash next weekend with another heavy defeat I suspect he will be sacked shortly afterward. I didn’t see anything from player performance today to convince me this squad can halt the slump and avoid relegation.

Were you using web browser or app. Last year tried app, android very poor. Using a Web browser on laptop , lead to TV and all good. That is basically how the second option was viewed. I have seen a lot of games with friends and most have had problems. It was enough for me not to bother with it. Hell, i go for The friends , The sense Of being a part of being part of something and the camaraderie. I really don’t enjoy TV games

Ok as a dinosaur, not much of that makes sense. Someone said downloading EFL app will help next time. (?) Who knows? Looking across social media (not me as I'm not linked, but others were) many had problems. Not just our match, apparently Millwall fans hardly got any minutes in (rough justice, maybe?). Mick Mills sounds like he commentated on death row executions. His morose tones is very noticeable. Although he was correct at half time - Bristol have no firepower to get them through now they are 2-0 down. If an opposition commentator can see it in 45 mins, and most of the blue half of Bristol could see it before, and I suspect Stevie Wonder could possibly write a song about it, where does that place the manager BG in all this?

But if the performance is the same disorganised car crash next weekend with another heavy defeat I suspect he will be sacked shortly afterward. Agree mostly with ESB! Although, depending on your interpretation of 'shortly afterwards', I suspect he's got the gig for most of this calendar year. So far, he's appeared (not to me) to talk a good game and provided reasonable excuses for his selections and performances. I know, I know don't do dirty washing in public bla bla bla but you can't accept that the journey has anything to do with defending of that calibre or has anything to do with (again) tinkering with one or no recognised striker and then wonder why you haven't scored(?) I think it's going to be a long hard season ahead, some of it will be our own making..

The best £10 I never spent.
Pleased with the amount of possession in their half which is part of the plan.
The problem is, how we press the ball at turnover as we need to stop the ball in behind us. This is where Liverpool do it better than anyone. The opposition don't get a chance to get in behind, but Ipswich did 3 times for all 3 goals.
This is a freebie in a way, but only if we get at least a point next week.
That is our 7th defeat under Garner where the opposition have scored 3 or more.
I won't be backing him if it continues, I am concerned he is too ready to accept a result like that. Players' performances need to be scrutinised by the management team and feedback given to improve straight away, the 11 must want to keep their place, or else why are they there?
Liked the look of Nicholson, direct running for his chance, but composure let him down and is not acceptable.
Harsh reality has hit, I predicted 3-0 to them or 3-0 to us.
I hate football, but loved watching Gas again on Quest, even with the bad result.

Town attacking down the wings, rovers trying lots of football Even game so far but not really threatening. Very little territory. Any sort of long ball from us gives away possession. Nothing holding it up front, And you can’t play any kind of football without that. Except false 9 football. Is this what we are playing? Why do only 9's get to have this romantic idiom?
What about a coy 10? A 4 that's playing hard to get? A 7 who's just come out of a long term relationship and is not prepared to commit?
I feel like the coach who addresses this issue will transform the world of football tactics.

Looking at this from the fans' perspective, you can't help feeling cheated. Before Covid you would travel miles, such as Exeter, have a look at the team sheet and see, in this example Mitch Harding playing No 9, and you know a win would be remote. So you pay your cash on iFollow, see the team line up against Ipswich and think a loss is very likely.
No starting forward and we need a defence coach, Cocko are you free?

You see the team sheet that means scoring goals is small possibility, like yesterday’s team sheet, two down in 20 minutes and check out now get £7.26 back. Check out half time, save yourself fiver towards next match.

UTG! the same mick mills that captained England in ‘82? Blubbed when the post match interviewer pointed out we were knocked out the cup and that’s the end of his international career. also one of the best attacking fall backs of all time?

Reffed a Staffordshire Senior Cup tie between Stafford Rangers and Stoke.Mick Mills was the Stoke manager and played himself in a mainly reserve side.He was such a lugubrious man with no warmth or humour. On a totally different topic Midland's News showed the Sercs winner tonight away to Peterborough. What a player.Wish we'd had him Sat.
