I missed the first deadline and was going to renew by tomorrow's second deadline. Apart from the 'It helps the club' argument, could anyone tell me what advantage it would be for me to renew?
As I read it, if limited supporters are allowed in this season, priority will go to those who bought before the first deadline and although no one know for sure, it does seem it will be a while before another batch of supporters would be allowed in after that.
I have had a season ticket for decades, but this is the first time, I'm wondering whether it's worth it or not. I don't blame the club for this btw, but I am struggling to see any advantage for me to renew,

Getting a season ticket is if nothing else a show of support to the club we all love and the cost (if it can be afforded) is a comparative drop in the ocean compared to the amount Wael has ploughed in. That said I respect the fact that the cost is higher than some can afford, particularly right now and therefore the show of support has to be demonstrated in other ways

There is some judgement involved here.
1. Let's assume that all restrictions on attendance at the Memorial Stadium are removed from 1 Jan 2021. To see all the League matches (on video in 2020 and then in person in 2021) you would save £52 (£347 - £295) by buying a season ticket.
Season Ticket North Terrace = £295
Assume No Crowd restriction from 1 Jan 2021 (13 matches) Cost Without Season Ticket = 13 x£19 = £247
Assume Free Video Stream Access (for 10 League matches) Cost Without Season Ticket = £100
Total Cost without Season Ticket = £347
2. Let's assume the most pessimistic case: all you get for your season ticket is an ifollow pass for all 23 matches. You could have bought an ifollow pass per match, and been £65 better off. If you gamble now that restrictions will be in place all season, preventing you seeing any matches in person, you would be better off buying a season pass for ifollow.
Assume Restricted all season Assume Free Video Stream Access (for 23 League matches) £230
3. If restrictions are lifted before 1 Jan 2021, of course, the season ticket is even better value.
4. Buying a season ticket helps the club!
5. So does buying an ifollow pass - but not as much.

You can start your sentence with, "I am a season ticket holder..." when discussing Rovers football with non-gasheads and you get some kind of aura, air of credibility etc - well the ones on Radio 5's 606 believe (yes you can't see an aura on radio.)

I still hav'nt bought a season ticket.
Free access to watch on iplayer or what have you for ST holders, is'nt much cop to me as I only use my mobile these days.So I would actually prefer Radio Bristol.
In the scenario they offer money back per game ,i may buy one sharpish.

How many ST's have we sold out? Orient have sold over 3,000! Their average last season was only 5,608. So you'd have to say that is quite an impressive number...
