Off to Peterborough...As disappointed as I am, this was all done in the right way...Now it's about who we can get in and I'm sure we have planned for this

A little slice off the debt"...... not totally surprised and good luck to hime, did us well , could have been better if he was not so injury prone so we await the arrival of Messi then !!

It'll only be a disappointment if no suitable replacement is found.
I still don't think he ever hit it off completely with fans and was held in iconic emotions as some of our previous strikers.
We move on. But we need a like for like replacement. Fast.

Rhys Healy of MK Don's looks a good striker and would fit nicely in.
2 footed, brave, excellent header ,can pass ,looks like he has presense, helps out in defence, target man.

He's a bit injury-prone, and only this week was a bit vomity (allegedly). Can't blame him for taking the money, but he still has plenty to prove I think

At the age of 26 this will be his tenth club albeit some have been loan spells says a lot about the guy and current professional footballers all chasing more money and a shortish career so signing on fees important. A question mark about his fitness was always there but he is a clever footballer and will be remembered for those vital goals which saved us from almost certain relegation. Scored some memorable goals and I am sure he will continue to score loads at this level. With one year left on his contract it could be good business for the club.

The big surprise for me was that JCH passed a medical! Maybe the Peterborough people didn't notice the big thigh strapping he's wearing.....

We move on. But we need a like for like replacement. Fast. Agree. He was a very good striker but he didn’t half like a moan at his team mates. Have longer this year, until October, to find a replacement. UTG!

I loved JCH. Moody. Brilliant. Never coasted or shirked for a second, gave everything.

Always had a chance with him on the field.
Wait and see what happens with Garner's own squad, but this is not good news.

Excellent business, another period of injury or goal drought and this could never have been done. Rovers have changed radically and I would expect to see more players brought in or developed that will produce similar outcomes. Thanks JCH and all the best for the future.

Are we expecting a replacement? On Rovers web-site, Martyn Starnes says "This should also be regarded as an opportunity for other players to come into the team to develop their own careers.......". Not "into the club" but "into the team". I think our new number nine will be someone already at the club.
