where will he fit in the pecking order? A guess...
Gillingham bloke Davies (if fit) Alfie Harries or Mayo, depending on the job to be done Baldwin
What do you reckon?

Formation dependent, before and during a game. The sort of flexibility with players who can adapt quickly that we have been lacking.

I've just read that he's 27, a former captain of teams, he's returning from injury, and that he's a bit of a ball-player. So below Alfie, but above Harries and Mayo, to begin with? and that there's a rumour that Davies is off to Mansfield

Harries may be pushed forward to compete for a birth as a defensive midfielder with Josh Grant, but it is possible that one or more will be loaned out or sold.

Rumours on the other forum that Tom Davies has had an operation on both of his knees and is out until January.

A passing CH and maybe our new Captain.Another BG style of player.Good.
When you have a 'passing coach' it's good idea to have players that can pass the ball.
In for a penny,in for a pound.

Surely 3 at the back implies 2 wing-backs... Leahy on the left? Plus who on the right? I've think wing-backs is one of the toughest positions to fill...

We were 3-5-1-1(or 2) under GC. BG comes in and immediately changes the formation, which has immediate effect on our performances....now it appears we are setting ourselves up for a 3 at the back again (with versatility to revert to a 4?) ? Confused!

Hare or Little. Rodman. Luca Hoole Hare could be interesting. Rodman, not really a defender? Little plays very little. Luca Hoole untested. So I guess my point is we don't have a lot of choice for wing-backs if we're going with 3 CBs...
