The pattern continues of signing younger, technically sound players with a solid pedigree.
I don't know if it will pay off in the hurly-burly of the 3rd tier, but I'm excited to find out.

I am really glad were doing something different, looks like a good signing. My feeling is that garner wants to play the lad in midfield.

Given the financial backing from Wael Al-Qadi and the (still to be proven of course) quality signings... I'm becoming increasingly optimistic about next season. This is not my default setting. Surely we should be on a sounder footing than a majority of Clubs in the Division. UTG.

As this is the first signing in close season you would think this is amongst BG most favoured acquisitions.
As ever we'll see, but it's positive he has had 4th tier league experience as the posh lights of Chelski luxuries are a far cry from a wet Mem in the winter..

3-year deal. I can see a strong case for it, but I thought we'd learned a few lessons on those

3-year deal. I can see a strong case for it, but I thought we'd learned a few lessons on those Like you I can see a case for it esp for 20/21/22 year olds who have a proven record ( I suppose Grant has after last season). The lessons are perhaps the 27-30 year olds who’ve been around for some time and fall into that lovely group classified as “journeymen”! Don’t give them 3 years, but certain others perhaps. We did learn some lessons from those longer contracts but I guess we also learnt some lessons from not giving Matt T, Billy B longer contracts. I guess the whole contracts business is a bit of a dilemma. Some you win, some you lose. UTG!

Are all footballers called Josh these days?
Josh is on the ball and looking for Josh on the overlap, but instead comes inside to Josh, who quickly sweeps it out to the other wing where Josh runs on to it, and is looking for Josh in the middle, but instead lays it back to Josh, and onto Josh. Good possession here by Rovers. And Josh is looking lively today? I was going to say, yeah, Josh looks up for this one. He’s developing a strong partnership there, with Josh.
Couldn’t we sign a Stan? Or a Jimmy? A Nigel would be a capture, and a real statement of intent.
