Now that we have some clarity over some things, I'm wondering about some of the other things posted on forums over the last year or so. For example....
knowall was banging on about 'getting our Rovers back' and 'what side are you on', and Hamer and KM and maybe Tote End Brian seemed to be backing some sort of alternative outcome (they weren't just out to undermine WAQ I think). Mayor Marvin also talked about 'various configurations of the club', I think. There was also a story about 2 people having had their papers to join the board pulled at the last minute (a couple of months back I think - and I'm not sure if they were local or not), and maybe something about loose lips having cost somebody £5m or something
Joining them all together, if these were the people behind the plans for some fruity things, surely we'd have rumbled who they are - there can't be too many Rovers fans who can be instrumental in a project of this size without being known to others (I'm guessing that they might be Merchant Venturers?)?

Why do you think the developers of the FM are Rovers fans? They sound like just property developers to me, unless Wael's been playing some clever game and he's always been behind the plans and the likes of Knowall & co never realised! Assuming he wasn't I sense Wael inheriting money from his late father and Hani deciding he had bigger fish to fry has left Wael in a in a far stronger negotiating position and so the developers have had to accept he stays on board, perhaps he's even found the money to finance the deal himself.

Why do you think the developers of the FM are Rovers fans? primarily from knowall's 'getting our Rovers back', but also from my perception of support from KM, JC and Tote End Brian I think it was more a case of "getting rid of that clown Wael", it was odd how Knowall changed from being one of his big supporters to biggest critics, whilst there have been rumours that the developers are the same company involved in the Nottingham Boots Island regeneration there's never been any mention of who the financial backers would be/who would actually own Rover post FM, odd really long term Rovers fans were content we could be owned by anybody as long as it wasn't Weal/the ALQ's as in a few years we could have become the next Coventry.
