this is the heat map, good from our point of view, not a joule of heat in the drop zone. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52689630so we prefer the season ends here like L2 and start focus and planning on next season? who do we have about out of contract? who worth any money entering last year? And despite how it went, none of us would rule out garner turning it around between seasons and we have a strongish season next time?

Garner is so far out of his depth it's embarrassing, how is that going to change quickly?
What is it, 2 wins in half a season after taking over a team that was hard to beat?
Should get rid now so that we can start fresh.

Ben Garner time has been awful. Strangely, the Sunderland game was very good.So good BG may of turned a corner. This may be far too much to hope for,but you never know.
Thing is,WAQ does'nt want promotion.

Thing is,WAQ does'nt want promotion. I've been a critic of Wael, but I don't think it's fair to say that he 'doesn't want promotion'. Wael and Mr. Starnes would most definitely welcome it. The slight problem being - is that they would appear not to have a clue about how to achieve it. (And I'm not suggesting they just throw money at a promotion push... I just don't think they have a clue).

I think that there is hope that youth will prevail instead of buying players. I’m fairly sure we will be in a state of inertia and until something changes.

Just remember KP, with Garner in charge defeat isn't an option, it's more like a certainty.

I just can't see how it's viable for League 1 to continue. Surely this is it as players start to drift out of contract. There was just never likely to be any unity of interests of the teams involved. Given that the Championship is playing to a finish I don't see what the harm is in letting the top 8-10 playoff against themselves in some sort of weighted format to see who goes up since that seems to be what those sides want. Then you give Tranmere a stay of execution, relgate Southend and Bolton and promote the 3 from the Auto spots in League 2. Also cancel football league relegation. Hard luck on Barrow but there's no obvious standout promotion candidate in there so it's not that terrible and Macc might well go belly up which will let them in anyway.
What I don't understand is why we still want to play - are Sunderland slipping us some money under the table?!

Let’s take PPG. the tables sort of look right under ppg don’t they? fanbanter.co.uk/how-englands-top-four-divisions-look-with-ppg-weighted-home-and-away/Look at the top of the championship, that’s just plain right isn’t it? Same with L1. In reality so much of the season was complete, more so than Mahlers 10th. PPG is just adding bit more orchestral colour to what is already there not shaking fundamentals or departing remarkably from what was a clear plot line. The more important thing now is how not to make a mess of the start of next season? That means getting what is important about close season right against backdrop of the financial mess covid has made of the football industry. So the quicker take ppg and draw line under this season the quicker can shift focus to other important considerations?
