Goldfinger is the only that springs to mind. Last Bond film I watched was Skyfall, bloody awful. Which was basically Home Alone but with more guns and adults. Utter rubbish.

Live and Let Die, or Casino Royale Daniel Craig version
Favourite Bond Girl Eva Green or Jinx, since you didn't ask

I liked most of the Pierce Brosnan ones, particularly with Robbie Coltrane, because they were tongue in cheek and silly without being overly camp and knowing like a lot of the previous ones are. I find the current version humourless and boorish.

By Bond:
Connery - Goldfinger Lazenby - On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (obvs) Moore - Spy Who Loved Me Dalton - Living Daylights Brosnan - Goldeneye Craig - Casino Royale
Overall it’s a draw between Goldfinger and Casino Royale for me.

Bond is a great escapist tradition. Great films.
Unlike others on here, I think Daniel Craig has been superb.

Dr No but only for the Ursula Andress beach scene, never seen anyone else looking sexy wearing a webbing belt, how did she keep the brasses so bright? Goldfinger but only where Connery slaps Margaret Nolans @rse and for the car although they should have used a DB3 like the book.
Can we have more Rovers 'Just for funs' ?

Don't get it at all.
Have never been able to decide if it's just, as Dr F says, escapism, or the makers of the films laughing at the garbage people will watch.
Mike Myers is much more entertaining.

Gaslady votes for Casino Royale as she loves Daniel Craig and we both love Judi Dench.

From Russia with Love - parts of which were blatantly copied in Spectre.

Skyfall
I liked the ones up to Moonraker, then they lost the plot. Didn't take it seriously again until Craig.
Special mention Live and Let Die Spy Who Loved Me

Live and Let Die, and the Roger Moore Spitting Image Puppet, unforgettable!. Funny enough that was the last Bond film I watched back in 73 - Having got into Hammer Horror films a few years prior to that, Bond thereafter, for me lost its ' appeal to thrill' I do, however still to this day love the Wings theme song. Its taken well over 40 years to show what an outdated model Bond has become, with the arrival of Kingsman 1 an absolute gem of a film! UTFG

UTFG I would argue that the Jason Bourne films did for that model of Bond movie. Die Another Day had an invisible car FFS. Casino Royale was a response to that.

Bond is a great escapist tradition. Great films. Unlike others on here, I think Daniel Craig has been superb. Exactly. Just what films are meant to be. I think DC has been the longest running Bond now hasn’t he? I’m not an expert and I bet some on here are but I think I read that somewhere. People love the films, that’s why they keep making them. All other “similar” type genre films are just variations on the original theme. UTG!
