KP/Wareham - I worked with a black guy who, because of a takeover, got elevated to a Product Manager covering Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. A colleague remarked to me that he ought to be careful. He himself told me that he was very aware that he was a black man travelling there and he was careful about what he did. A sobering comment to idealistic me. If I were him I would be looking to do much by video link. I have been following the political stuff in Poland and it’s brought up some very ugly stuff and it’s a brave person who dares to question the stance on immigrants and religion.

It's a few years ago and he was made redundant a few years back. It made me think at the time as I was a bit blasé about it.

I know that if they are only on £100k - £400k per week the tax they are paying is huge, but IMO they should be on £100k - £400k per year, would make things a little more normal. Anyone, even a footballer / sports person should be able to have a comfortable life on that. Not saying that you aren't right, but, what would happen then to the rest of the money flooding in to the game from TV / broadcasting?

One of the features about the book was that it was written in the 2000s and the denial of, refusal to face up to what their relatives had done and the sheer anti-semitism and racism was alive and kicking in modern day Poland and in the Catholic Church. Chilling but not surprising perhaps. keep well.

Poland is very extreme to the right, politically & the one thing that really can anger me is that they feel that this is perfectly normal and even patriotic. Maybe it’s been easier for me in that I wasn’t brought up there but this is a country that, in my experience, has never been slow to have no moral compass & also has a poor me mentality. I had to stop reading on twitter today as it was getting silly about the plane crash that was carrying the Polish heads if state. I know this may sound awful but I’m glad my parents aren’t around to read and see how they are behaving and yet still manage to play the victim card. It’s very embarrassing, for me.

Don't get me started, I have a long long list of charges against that institution, just one would be the forced conversion of millions of African people, then standing idly by whilst a deadly disease swept through the continent, and all they had to say about it was that AIDS may be bad, but condoms are worse. It's good sport taking people of faith and pointing out problems with their guide books, but even better fun is if you can get 2 from different denominations together and set them against each other on points of detail.

Division and conquer has always been a methodology employed to restore control. The 'don't get you started' goes way, way further and deeper than we could imagine..

We can't bat this back and forth on here, people would, quite rightly, get very bored as there's a long list of things that they should be held to account for and a long list of apologies due, so maybe just go to YouTube, if you haven't already, and watch Christopher Hitchens put that particular cult to the verbal sword?

Will Dwayne sports benefit from this in any way ? if so I don't think that its right that they should as they are registered in Jersey to benefit tax wise, why should the British taxpayer give them anything?

Ultimately they benefit as they don't have to fund the operating costs The argument would be that 1883 Ltd is a UK registered company and it's employees paying PAYE/NI which is how companies get the cash back depends which way you want to slice it
