Great stuff admin. I have one area of great concern. My beer supply is running low. At your advanced age, you should be able to get emergency delivery of essential provisions. 😎👍 I tried that but next available slot was mid April. Got enough until Friday...dash to the Coop then

Stay safe mate.

Don't worry, alcohol suppliers doing home delivery are obviously essential, so they've been allowed to continue trading. Can anybody advise, which font best conveys sarcasm please? No need for a special font Almost all your posts are jibes or laced with liberal amounts of sarcasm Well, I'm sure that you are as annoyed as me to find out that there are apparently people prepared to go out and about, risking spreading or prolonging this crisis, so that people can get alcohol delivered, and just as annoyed if you were to learn that anybody was being selfish enough to use the service.

I guess the government would say yes, but the fact is I could do without them. I have running water in my home and always have had a good stock of tinned foods plus 2 freezers, so I wouldn't starve for a while yet. So really it's just a case of where do you draw the line and I assume alcohol deliveries are allowed to keep some sense of normality about the current weird situation. Anyway, it's probably the wrong thread to start a debate on what is and isn't essential and I might start ranting on couples going shopping together often with children in tow!!

Only if you add the prices of the products you buy in your head and get the total right at payment. It's quite easy for me at the coop when applying the following formula X=(4*1.75)+(4*1.75)+(4*1.75) Where 12 is the optimum supply level for the week spread across brands 🧐🤣🤣🤣

A big weekend for everyone to stay at home, weather looking good for the next few days.
We will be cutting the grass, plenty of gardening and the partaking of ice cold Thatchers.

We haven't heard from Chesh in a while either. I'm sure there are others missing too. Hopefully all are well.

Oh that's clever. A forum house party app might be good for anyone who needs a bit of company or distraction over the next few weeks? No good looking to me to set it up, I would have no idea whatsoever. But some of you clever types might be able to sort it and maybe organise an occasional get together for quizzes or some other form of light entertainment? And thank you, Admin. I'm okay so far. Hope everyone else is too. Good to hear everyone is well. All good in sunny Epping, and barbecue weather tomorrow. House Party App is a great idea. Anyone want to set it up? I'm a bit of a technophobe...
