With our football club clearly in financial trouble should we try and help their cash flow by renewing our season tickets this week. We like to have a go and the facilities and management, players etc but the time is now to secure our clubs future.
Times are strange but the virus shows normal life won't be the same again. Rovers have staff and players who rely on wages to pay their bills let's support them in their moment of need.

I'm afraid season ticket renewal is way, way down on my list of priorities at the moment.

I'm afraid season ticket renewal is way, way down on my list of priorities at the moment. I really don’t see how anyone could, rationally, be thinking any differently to this. It’s fine to cut us off from much but until this virus has a vaccine, it could go on and on. It doesn’t bear thinking about. I am worried about my own sanity more than anything and many others are in the same place.

I agree wholeheartedly with this, the backroom staff have lives too.
I would however like to see more from those whom have more.
It would be nice to hear something reassuring from our owners that normal, hardworking staff that help the club to run were being paid and their futures secured.
Ergo, I am content paying for a new season ticket if it helps these guys/girls and the running of the club, but we need to see more from above.

I don't intend buying a season ticket yet.Not decided if I'm getting one this time. Apart from the plague and all that entails ,I still hav'nt got my head around Rovers apparent capitulation around GC leaving and all that.

The football is going to be the least of priorities in trying to save lives and lockdown is going to be much longer than anyone expected. I guess the better off can afford to buy ST but others can’t and won’t & because none of us knows what is going to happen. Like with irenesfather if you are happy to spend & not be sure you will get anything from it then good for you, think yourself lucky

Couldn't agree more what if the club goes into administration or even worse Hani liquidates it to recover the charge he has on the Mem, you become a creditor. Looks as if the kids won't be back in school until September, the more you look at it, the EFL could well draw a line under this season and start the next one in September as well.

For me, I can not see how any “contact” sport could be resumed with the current”social distancing” rules being still in force. Would be a really mixed message that one. Especially as one of the dangers that has been discussed is getting cases going down due to the current restrictions then having them relaxed/reduced and then case numbers going back up again. It’s easy apart from that....

I have a state pension and a goodish private one. We live sensibly so we can afford to buy what we need when we need it and have holidays in this country. If I want to spend some of my spare cash on renewing my season ticket then that is my perogative.I don't consider myself lucky but sensible but on the other hand I am not envious of others in what they do or buy. Maybe I am in the minority, but that doesn't bother me one bit.Life is too short!!!!

Renewing a season ticket is about supporting your club now so it is around come August when things resume that's five months away so the current problems will be a distant memory and chip paper. Come on support those who entertain us for nine months of the season

It most certainly will be killing people then.

Had the club been more up front with keeping the supporters informed and had the team performed a lot better maybe people would. It's just another case of the club shooting their selves in the foot yet again.

I quess each to then own, i for one can't justify spending a significant amount of money on a ST, when I currently trying to keep my family, kids and business from going to the wall!
Iv'e watched Rovers for decades, and for the most part i would hardly call it entertainment more like 'self Harming'
I must apologise, however, I know i'am just being a old grump, this self isolation has meant two things.Whilst reacquainting my self with the lay out of my flat even,to the extent that i bumped into my wife - i thought shes a pretty little thing much better than I remember , 10 days on however, and I feel that it's like i'am living a with a 'snake with tits' still only another 3 months to go and I can get back to work, pubs, bands, steaks, parties oh and the Gas!
