Really well worked goal. Rovers look more "up for it" than Sunderland. Looks like wind behind us 1st half.

Can't understand how he got booked for diving there, even if you call it not a pen, if he plants his feet there the keepers coming right through him and he'd end with a broken leg.

Sunderland look very poor (or do we look surprisingly good)? No threat on our goal. Bit worried that Parkinson will give them a rocket HT and they come out all guns blazing with the wind behind them. Very niggly game. Don't think that both teams will finish will 11 players. Ref is all over the place.

The angry Sunderland players were sent a bill of £2000 for damage to the away dressing room....mind you some said their activities improved the changing room. Twerton was a real dump still is and before anyone says NO I hated watching games there. The Mem is much better and our natural home superb pitch and much easier to park on matchdays and the Welly too. Whats not to like ? I dont think I can have that...it was brilliant at Twerton after a difficult start..not sure the atmosphere has ever been matched at the Mem...natural home it is not...essentially still a rugby ground..only advantage over Twerton is that's in Bristol (I go for a morale boosting 0-0 tonight...heart ruling head!!...UTG) Yep agree with that Cornwallgas. Twerton was a dump but it was our dump and because we were so close to the pitch we could get the place really rocking. I was at the 4 - 0 game where Hibbitt had his leg broken and we really got to Sunderland that night. You could see how none of them fancied it. And who can forget The 3 - 0 against the 82ers? I was lucky enough to be at that one too and it is up there with the best atmospheres I’ve experienced watching Rovers |
