That's what I've been wondering. Hope he's okay. Anyone else gone missing?

He's liked one or two of my recent quotes, which is a nice touch, as we're usually have opposing views. With the magnitude of what feels like a holocaust going on around us he may well have more pressing matters to deal with.

She's okay, thank you. Oblivious to the current situation, which I think is probably a good thing. The worries are the obvious ones - that I might pass the virus on to her and the effects of being isolated long term. She had recently started going to a few dementia friendly activity groups which had made a huge difference to her, but of course those are all cancelled now.
Nothing to be done though and there will be thousands in the same boat.

There is an eerie feel around now, much less traffic and the shopping area here and cafes are dead. It’s the zombie apocalypse 👍🏻

I had 2 periods of 3-4 weeks where I was unable to visit here, due to the chemo and chances of me picking up all of the nasty stuff that can be in carehome. Poor mama, she really didn’t do well with that. I’m so sorry as I didn’t know of this.

Saw Fury in Tesco he looked gaunt worried about where his next fix was coming from he had 24 rolls of toilet paper to exchange.

The fact there are others in the same boat, doesn't make it any easier and you shouldn't feel guilty for doing what you are doing, or feeling what you're feeling. It's so bloody unfair at times, life. Keep those you love near Anne, keep talking, keep smiling, keep remembering better times and look forward to a time when you will hopefully be able to get your Mum back in the events that do her good. My best wishes and thoughts are with you.

There are too many in the same boat. It's such a cruel illness. I work on 'one day at a time'. Which in fact is all any of us can do, especially as things are just now. Although in our case, with the complete lack of short term memory, it's more 'one minute at a time'. We do have very repetitive and circular conversations these days, but on the up side we're never stuck for something to talk about

All good here, just letting others get a word in edgeways. I remember you did this before, in 1997, wasn't it? Glad you're fine, you unconscionable old goat.
