No match report this week because it was almost as bad as last week and the view I had was behind the goal and the crossbar got in the way of nearly everything but answering my own question we have
a) defenders who can't defend.
b) Attackers who rarely score.
c) A totally non existent midfield.
d) No leadership whatsoever from the owner

Get where you're coming from Steve. I'm a long-distance, armchair supporter and I can't even be bothered to be that right now. A disaster of a club.

Blackman, Daly and M-L came out of it with some credit. Pity the best two are loanees. Lovely clinical finish by M-L when clean through but apart from that and the first 15 minutes we were a total shambles. Can't see Garner turning it around now. Looks like he's gone past the point of no return.

Pessimists "clowns collapsing car" analogy sums it up nicely for me.
YouTube.
Laurel and Hardy crumbling car. I can't link it,but if you're curious it sums Rovers up.

An analogy of those who hadn't noticed King Garner is in the altogether. Yes,the steps piano one too. Up the steps with Couglan. Down the steps with Garner.

It takes someone very special to get such a normally very tolerant and loyal group of fans, to be near enough, United in how disenchanted we feel. I would not entrust Garner with any rebuild and something here stinks to high heaven.

I will leave each to make their own minds up on whether they want to withdraw, until we get action.

What we have is ineptitude in every key department at the club.
Wael and co are the toast of Ashton and that should tell us everything we need to know about the direction they are steering the club in.

Give me the Dunfords any time. Sadly, we don’t have anyone who could do what they did, now. Surely, most must now see that we are a club in deep crisis & one who hasn’t learned a thing, from past mistakes

It appears even with the happy clappers and rose tinters the penny has dropped. Our current malaise is due to the trickle down effect coming from the top. We have a clown playing at owning a football club. He alone is solely responsible for recruiting the hopelessly incompetent Garner. God, he must have been cheap.

I am afraid things will actually get worse ….Sunderland, Ipswich and Peterborough will easily beat us in the next couple of weeks.

It’s got to the stage I nearly don’t give a monkeys tbh the way these tossers of owners have completely ruined my club. All the momentum built up from our double promotion completely squandered

All the momentum built up from our double promotion completely squandered It's been quite morbidly fascinating watching the car crash slowly unfold, and I don't just mean Garner. It comes from the top. I wouldn't go as far as to say I don't care, otherwise I wouldn't be posting this, but I have no plans to attend again for forseeable future and I am not alone as friends with hundreds of years of loyal support between them have also walked away. It's sad, and watching the decline continue apace over the coming months and years will also be sad. Sadder still that I will be watching it ufold from afar.
