What do people expect...we have a clueless board and an inexperienced tinker-man, who failed as assistant/manager last season - why should things change?
Our recruitment has once again been diabolical.

I am as critical as the next, but lets give it a chance FFS. Did anyone expect much away to a Barnet team that scored 5 on Saturday even of it was against 10 men. History shows it isnt easy to get of this division and we have gaames to go. Lets have half a dozen first before we start putting the writing on the wall. I agree. It took Luton 5-6 games last season to get going after all. However, they did go on a 27+ unbeaten run following that shaky start Well we are trying to match the first bit....

It's quite sad listening to Keith searching for something positive in very difficult circumstances.

Lockyer got a split lip. Nothing serious.

Darryl Clark only achieved something at Salisbury as they were professional whilst the rest of their division was part time.
The recruitment of conference journey men and league two cast offs has been embarrassing. Not a fan of DC/The Bods performance pre season, absolutely clueless.
We all said we need pace, cannot see it anywhere.

It's quite sad listening to Keith searching for something positive in very difficult circumstances. Well Clarke talks a good game, so that's good.
There are a lot of posters on here who talk a good game, I'm sure that many of them would have done a better job of keeping us up with 8 games to go. The number of points required really should have been achievable, how that and the pathetic showing against Mansfield bags you the job just because you cried like a p*ssy is beyond me.

On a positive note, we are going to score soon. Watch this space.

think some people need to loosen up, what are you expecting from a team that has played one competitive game, and halfway through a second, a virtual team of strangers will need time to get it together, ain't going to happen overnight, and time you all realised it, GEL!!!! we've been gelling for about 6 years now.

DC - Your first big mistake tonight: when you've had to make so many enforced changes why add to it with an unenforced one?
So TP & MM are both left-footed? Well they've played together long enough; what was it 15 clean sheets last season, and if anything TP is much fitter this year and had a good game on Saturday.

D'ath has now scored two goals against a team two divisions above. What was the reason for not signing him again?

This season could be a season of consolidation, adapting to life in the conference and forming a strong base for a promotion challenge next season, or the one after that, or the one after that.

Sorry don't buy that. These are supposed to be professionals but then that's not a word you can associate with Bristol Rovers. I watched the game on Saturday and was totally underwhelmed with what I saw. Barnet will get more goals this half. I don't buy it either. If you shoved a load of plumbers into your house you wouldn't expect them to start flooding the place or connecting the electrics to the radiators. to be fair about two weeks ago half our squad were plumbers.

we've been gelling for about 6 years now. It's a standard bullsh*t excuse that is wheeled out. One of many you hear on weekly basis through the past X years of freefall.
